pace....yes
commitment.....no
he does have lovely hair though
Pains me greatly to say it cause I love the guy but probably yes. He's been a great signing for Rovers though, decent first season, very decent last season, phenomenal attitude throughout. Just a great guy to have around the place. Don't usually get player names on the back of my shirt but had to get Salgado this season, I mean when's the next time Rovers will have a 2-times Champions League winner playing for us?
Past it but good to have around for the youngsters, get him in as caretaker and sack Kean couldn't do any worse!
BAWH - According to Kean/Venky's we will have a full squad of players at least playing in the Champions League within a couple of seasons (Laughable)
Yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Wasnt to bothered about him to be honest at the start of this season, thought ok he could be good for one more season,,then first game of the season against Wolves, there player headin out of the box towards the corner flag with the ball, and Sally decides to clobber him from behainf,,that finished him for me,,so...YES in big letters.
Agree with every comment above but Givet's hair is better
Are we only allowed to say yes or no?
He has not had much protection at times but it would appear that age has caught up with him. Some of these wingers are racehorses. I would have preferred to judge with someone like Emerton in front of him as he has been left badly isolated at times and lets face it we have conceded a bucket load of goals and it cant be all Salgados fault.
Yes. Unfortunately we have little cover though. Sam was really thinking short term when he bought him. Could have done better by getting in a young player or developing an academy lad
He reminds me of a right sided Michael Gray. Alot of movement but no end product

The positive effect on the dressing room having someone like Salgado should not be underestimated. Especially for the younger, less experienced players. Instead of dissing Allardye put your brain in motion and ask yourself why he signed him?
Another thinly veiled comment on our previous manager. He certainly wasn't past it when he was part of a well marshalled defensive unit and he had cover. Now, his current manager has had the distinction of making our entire defensive unit look poor and sold/lost what cover we had.
I did think this season would be one too far for him - I have loved having him around but think he is now ageing beyond what his instinct and brain can compensate for. We are lucky to have had him at the Rovers and half the ingredients of being a winner are mental - to have had someone successful like that still bringing his all to training and matches should only have served as an inspiration to the younger guys.
For the life of me I cannot understand what all the fuss is about, this girl is a commoner, not even so called Royal and for her to be called a Princess let alone Queen is a joke, she is Miss Catherine Middleton, she is married, OK, her husband one of the many people in the Royal Family who supposedly have Royal blood, whatever that is, but what is her surname, Windsor, Wales, Saxe-Coburg-Gothe or something else? The notion that these people are somehow demi-gods and have mystery surrounding them is a fantasy, it is a myth.
