Well you're not even up to that level of poo.
You're the horrible stringy fish poo that taints the water that becomes part of the water cycle that rains to moisten the soil that is then used by the tree that makes the crappy tracing paper.

I brought him into my fantasy team last night, I have a feeling that he's going to keep on racking up those assists this season!

You're not even fishy poo. Poo is way to sacred and natural for you.
You're that pack of crisps that been chucked away by the Tottenham fan into the river which has suffocating the poor fish which then disintegrates to provide nutrients to the tree to create paper to make copies of the Sun Newspaper.
And not even a proper crisp packet, like Real McCoys. You're a Tesco brand Salt n Vinegar crisp packet.
Good article, but I don't agree with what you say at the end:
"with the limited talent he has, has still found a way to turn himself into a very good player. Shows what a bit of effort can do and long may it continue!"
How can someone have limited talent/ ability, yet still be a very good player?
Are you trying to say that he is making best use of the lack of ability he has? in which I would have to disagree with you. Surely all/ most of our abilities are derived from hard work and practice e.g. I'm sure the reason why so many of the Barcelona players are creative and good on the ball, is more to do with the way they are brought up at la Masia, as opposed to any genetic mutation that affects Catalans and few else?
Different debate, I know. But still wanted to address

"That's a low blow! You're taking this a bit too far now! I was only joking around with you."
That's for all the ginger beard comments.
I personally think excluding the assist, Song was appalling on Saturday. I hate his obsession with shielding and holding onto the ball when there's clearly an available outlet. He's got to move the ball quicker like the less talented but tactically astute Flamini was.
He's also got to stop conceding cheap, dangerous free-kicks when good pressure on the opposition should suffice. He hasn't yet got the balance right between when to commit and lay off.
mthierry, I think you just don't like Song so pre-judge him.
So stating my opinion as a fan means I'm on some vindictive agenda? Please, don't be ridiculous.

I never said it was vindictive, but I think your assessment of Song as "appalling" on Saturday seems ludicrously over the top, and therefore I surmised that you have pre-conceived ideas about the way he plays and base your opinions on that.
I thought Song was not very good against Norwich as well to be honest but I wasn't discussing his all round performance in this particular game, I was just discussing what he has added to his game this season. It is hard to get the balance right but if he manages to do so then he will be one of the best around.

Also I don't have stats to hand but from what I have seen Song has been far less cynical this season than last and has conceded far less frees than he usually has.
He was IMO, the weakest link in our midfield on Saturday. His passing through most of the game WAS appalling. I'm not being blinded by an assist. It's funny even with the assist, I was screaming at the TV when he missed a chance to release the free Gervinho and opted for the more difficult pass to RVP which he scored. Even in the positive, you could still draw a negative.
Trust TBOK to come along and bring the worst out of Petergay
mthierry considering the amount of chances Gervinho missed in that game Song's decision making in that situation was probably the correct one.
"Even in the positive, you could still draw a negative."
You could. But it would suggest you're looking for the negative...
Even in the positive, you could still draw a negative.
---------------------------------------
you can if you're always looking for them.
you could just as easily argue that he saw 2 passes on, a simple one to maybe create a chance and a more difficult one to definitely create a chance, went for the more difficult one, and played it perfectly. you could then say 'well done, great pass' or you could say 'meh, should have played the easier one'... personally i always like to look for the positive rather than the negative, but that's just me.
I blame Alex Songs silly hair...
