i'm suprised with squillaci. he's not a bad player, just struggled to adjust in the premier league. don't know why a low-table ligue 1 team hasn't bid for him. wages maybe?
denilson is not good enough for us, but he could do a good job for a smaller Spanish team.
he is worth 4 -5 million. if we are lucky,
The European transfer window doesn't open until july 1st i believe. But English one is open now. So dont panic yet there is plenty of time to offload them.
I think we will find a taker for them. I mean their not awful players, both have had their moments, Almunia was amazing vs barca. Denilson did well for us about 2 seasons back. But both lack ability to perform in high pressure games nor consistently at a top club. I think they could do a job for a mid table spanish team, evan a bottom premiership team, but due to their bad rep in England that is unlikely.
I think someone will definitely come in for denilson, he' s still quite young, fairly experienced, someone might consider him to have potential still. Almunia might be a good back up keeper for a team in spain somewhere.
But whos going to offer them the ridiculous wages they're on now?

That's a problem. But you would think they might take a pay cut if its that or, not playing for 2 years. Especially denilson, He said it was his ambition to get into brazil team. Well he's not going to do that warming the reserve bench at arsenal while he sits out a contract. You would hope he will realize this and take a bit less money.
