Change team?

Play four at the back.

Have one player who can (when you get posession) get forward so he can be your outlet.

Obviously this sytem would only work if your one forward is a good player as he would need to both defend when you don´t have posession and then quickly get forward when you do have posession.

or take some speed add it to a can of redbull shake it then mix it with lucozade and vodka.

Job done!

Or you could get a big sheet of cling film and wrap your goal face in it.

Play narrow and pack out the middle. let their team have it on the wings as they really cant hurt u from there. Split the pitch into 3 parts and basically never leave the centre area. Have imaginary lines that run the length of the pitch from 1 yard outside the furthest corners of the D. Tell your players never to leave this area.

I can't quit either!

Im a model professional - unlike Tevez!

in our league if we forfeit we lose 10 - 0 so i suppose its better than average!

Simply put, defend as a team.

You've got to let them have the ball in there half for starters, only press when they come into yours.

Play a sort of 121 formation.

The person at the top of the formation is the instigator, when they press, everyone has to step up to not leave gaps; you all need to be about 4 metres apart, 2 metres between the banks. This won't give them any room to play it through you.

The opposition will then play the ball wide a lot. This is the tricky bit positionally. You need to rotate on your axis. For example, when the ball goes wide to one of the 2s in the diamond, he will then become the 1 at the top, the person who was one at the bottom will, along with the previous instigator, form the 2 and the last remaining person will become the 1 at the back. Basically you won't have a set position, you will need to swap around to maintain your shape.

With the ball, play on the counter attack. The furthest forward should be the only one breaking forward, unless you are chasing the game that is. This is another reason why you don't want set positions, the person at the top has to do the most running, they wont be able to keep it up.

This system has helped me no end. Remember that each position has a zone of about two metres squared each to watch. If you all stick to your job, they will have to produce some great football to break you down.
