do you honestly believe that if the club decide to rebuild and lampard is not prepared to change his game, that he will stay ? he will get frozen out.

i thought the whole point of bringing in AVB was to break the cycle we are in, lampard has not brought enough to the table in the last two seasons.

what would SAF do ? if he couldnt adapt hed be long gone.

Drogba is in his mid 30s but he still will attract clubs, if beckham goes to psv for 11m then drogba will attract clubs. you forget in africa he is a superstar.possibly there biggest player.

Malouda is 30 and is still a french international..again if the club want him out he may well wish to move on rather than get less and less playing time.

I wouldn't write off Lampard just yet. He's scored some useful goals and has given us a couple of assists. Agreed, he's no longer Mr. 20 Goals, but he can still do a job for us.

My real worry is JT. Maybe I'm not seeing things properly, but he seems VERY off-pace...

We have the right manager.

What has become very clear is that we need a big overhaul of our playing staff.

We have too many players who are either not good enough or living off past glories.

The future of Chelsea FC needs to be based around the likes of Sturridge, Mata, Romeu, Luiz and Ramires.

These players are our future and we need to add to them.

I would like to see a bit more of Lukaku. Does anyone know if he's going to feature in the CC?

Romeu isn't your future either, he'll be back to Barcelona if he is any good!

Romeu might leave but I doubt he'll go this season - he's going to be too far down their pecking order.
Realistically he's not going to leave unless he becomes world class and can force his way past the 9 or so other midfielders in Barca's team...

If we have to wait more than a season and a half to discover if a player we bought for 50m will come good again then the world as we know it has reached a new level of madness.

Torres simply has to deliver this season or he has to be sold and we will be lucky to get 20m for him if we have to sell him because he can´t hack it at Chelsea.

Adam has been brilliant recently and cost a mere 8 or 9 million pounds.

Henderson is 20 - I would be very surprised if he isn't worth 16 million in a few seasons, so the price tag makes sense.

Downing was a little on the pricey side, and a top PL winger last season, in the prime of his career who is English will always cost mega bucks.

funnily enough i was sitting next 3000 of them at the last match liverpool played at stamford bridge, every time torres went through his streching exercise the fickle away supporters were slagging him off.

No football player is worth what you pay for them anymore. But it's all relative.

Milner for example was another ridiculous fee wasn't he? Downing and Milner aren't that far apart.

you're so right my friend, a few years ago we bought the worlds best left back for 5 mil + one stroppy centre half, now you cant but a set of goalposts for that amount, it's ridiculous
