I don't bring up history all that often; you're the one who wrote an article about it. Chelsea were a solid mid to high table side before Abramovic came along, and shortly afterwards they won the League multiple times along with domestic cups.

i think it is funny that unless you win 2-3 cups a season then SOME Utd and Pool fans write you off as a rubbish team.

fair enough if you think an F.A cup is just a worthless pot but REAL fans celebrate ALL major trophys with sheer joy and glee!

We certainly won the League with the help of the Abramovich money but we were already winning domestic cups, European trophies and qualifying for the Champions League.

The Abramovich money was just the icing on the cake that allowed us to step up to the next level where we could finally win the title.

It is indeed puzzling but I gave up giving a sheite what others think long ago.

What I have noticed with Chelsea FC is that we seem to attract jealousy and that goes back before Abramovich and the money.

Maybe because we´re a London club in the most fashionable part of London etc.

As I said before though I don´t care what other people think as most people are spoon-fed what to think by the media and they don´t know any better.

Chelsea won nothing before Roman came and dragged us out of mid table to go and win the league...

The first stat you show is in 1997. Not 'really' history is it?
History happened yesterday, an hour ago or a minute ago. 'Football history' to most, (apart from the OP) is success that spans more than one generation.
