Frimpong better prospect than Coquelin!

Frimpong will be the type of DM that would actually protect the defence and we wouldnt have to worry about him bombarding forward.

Would love to be in a situation where we finish games off by the 70th minute, then we can rest Song for Frimpong

Coquelin looks like he can play football Frimpong looks like a cut price Mr T. I'd stick with the french lad

Coq more technically gifted and likes to go forward, both can play together as they have shown.

Also, Coquelin reminds me of a le sulk Anelka, Diarra, Nasri in temparament than Chamberlain or Walcott could ever become. His recent outburst threatening to leave won't go unnoticed by fans

So a mis-translation/mis-interpretation means we should hate a player?

Coquelin said he expected to go on loan if he isn't needed for the first team. Natural thing to think after his experience last season.

but to be a dominating player like Alex Song

but coquelin and frimpong look quality imo one of them should be on and song either benched or trusted with a more attacking role until wilsher is back.

Frimpong is definitely more aggressive, but I think you are underestimating Coquelin's talent. At least in my view, he is the better footballer of the two.
Re Coquelin's situation with him asking for playing time, the club should either play him against the lesser sides in the league (no offense intended, but City's second string, against which he fared well, may have even be a tougher test than some of the teams in the league might offer), or loan him again. Problem solved.

Both have got some talent, imo Coquelin is better technically and has proven that his loan spell has done him good. Frimpong wears his heart on his sleeve and will give everything for us, happy to have them both

I think that they'd be a great paring for bigger teams. It's like Song + Arteta. Song is like Frimpong, the tough tackling guy who is the strength of the midfield, who lacks the footballing skill of Arteta + Coquelin, but Arteta is a better intercepter, as well as a good tackler, who can push forward better.

It's amazing to have both of them!

it's funny, because i think coquelin is the more complete footballer - he's got a more advanced footballing brain, his range of passing is excellent, and he's more threatening going forward than frimpong.

but frimpong's got that 'x-factor', the drive, the determination, the 'do-or-die' attitude. imagine that kind of psychological mettle in a player of coquelin's technical quality, and you'd have a player to rival vieira.

I thought Frimpong was so dominating against anything the petro dollars could buy, I just wished Yaya was there to feel Frimpong on his side mirrors, that would be so intimidating thing. I think Frimpong needs to improve his passing range otherwise he is at the right club to grasp the technical side of things

I think Frimpong has got good technical skill. Remember yesterday he flicked the ball over his head and bamboozled Aguero I think it was. It's just his passing that's lacking.

And yesterday when Coquelin came off injured for about a minute, he was being held back he wanted to get on so much! Both these players have something, although I would admit Frimpong looks to have more of it

No doubt that Coq is technically better, but that does not always mean they are the more valuable player. I think of him as more like Flamini whereas Frimpong is more like err Roy Keane.

I say that because hes big and strong with a dominant physical prescence and can influence a game. Lets hope he can do for us what Keane did for Man u.

Frimpong is just a grafter. Won't get far at the club imo.

Frimpong is fine, but I think Coquelin has the potential to be really special.
