Small print...
I'm an Optimist not a Pessimist!
This will work and we will stay up!
Bennet for number 26 in your 442
Hayter in for 26 in your 433
newyankee 26 has performed in 1 half at Ipswich yet you still want 2 play him.Hayter scores goals not because he is more skillful than 26 he just has a pair of b.... unlike a certain waste of skin
Lanzo,
I was of the same opinion when I set about picking the side, however, I thought that against a good side, No 26 might just have a game.
Normally I'd bracket him with the laundry lady and often pick her, but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Hi newyankee, I have just lost patience with him.Every Saturday I expected you all would batter me when he did perform but as time has gone by I think most of the regular 606ers now have moved to see my point of view but I have now come to the opinion he is just not trying and there is now excuse for him,Martis now appears to have joined him in the none tryers club,Sad but I think true.
"Hayter scores goals not because he is more skillful than 26 "
Could the fact that Hayter scores 3 or 4 more goals per season than Coppinger also be related to the fact that Hayter often plays as a striker?
Hayters work rate compared with that of 26 not worthy of a comment
Do you not know how to spell Coppinger?
errrr....d..i..v..i..n..g..c..h..e..a..t..i..n..g..g..i..t..?
ooh! someone from the jokewell who's learned to walk upright. Shouldn't you be playing on your own board?
He's not allowed on his own board.
I saw Coppinger running his socks off yesterday, nothing wrong with his workrate in this match.
Once anyone has a downer on a player it is alomost impossible for them to give any credit to them.
drfchound wrong. He did ok yesterday & is one of the most gifted players we have.
Exactly Lanzo, but he has not been doing it regularly enough for some time. By the way, the number thing, I was waytching the Packers today. They have a player names Charles Woodson who is number 21. Guess what, the commentators were saying the defence was lacking because number 21 was off in jured. That doesn't sound like lack of respect to me. They used both Woodson and number 21.
Thanks Newyankee the number26 thing is just a laff some people need to lighten up a little. A. Little now there was a player he did have a full set lol
Lanzo, if you knew me you wouldnt say that i need to lighten up mate, however you post the thing about Copps too often for it to be for a laugh.
As for my comment about not being able to change opinions on players i still think i am generally right with that one.
A bloke sitting near me regularly has a go at Hayter, saying he might as well not be on the pitch.
He even had a go after he had scored a goal one day.
How about that one.
drfchound sori i was'nt making the lighten up comment to you.
I was just saying I will speak as i see it and on Saturday number 26 had a decent game & I am not silly enough to doubt his ability I never had
Spot on Lanzo, if all the so called regular players had played to their maximum ability we would not be in the position we are in.
We've all ( me included) slagged off SoD for his part, but once players go on the pitch they are responsible for their own actions. We do have quality players on our books, they have just not been proving that they were as good as they can be.
Any team can carry the odd player each game having an off day, but five or six all having a bad day for game after game cannot be accounted for. This happens when they are low in confidence of their own ability. As DS says they all need to have a winning attitude, some did not have this.
