Isn't the difference that Arsenal were in the top four last season and expected to be above Liverpool?

No it's the fact that Liverpool have spent over £100m in players and naturally I expect them to finish in the top three

please don't try to switch this around. when we did our transfer deadline day deals, everybody expected liverpool to finish above us. they still could, but it seems unlikely to me. esp. now we have the majority of our first team back.
It's not the fact that Kenny is untouchable but more that the British press does not like Arsenal.
Sure, we had a bad start but not worse than some of the other teams.
All of them just expect us to fail.
It's cos he's Kenny
Rafa was doing a better job and he was thrown out on his backside
Yep. I think if liverpool had a foreign manager, there would be talk of his sacking. Further more again if the 100m worth of players were not british, you can guarantee the media would be writing them off as flops.
Maybe it's because we have moer points and play better football with better players than last year and you don't.
Y'know what's funny yous gooner fans are exactly the same as all the other years. You have a little run, think you're good, thenyou'll play a good team, get spanked, win nothing and then sell your best players.
Standard.

Wow. You're not very bright are you. Try thinking things through.
We win more than you and have won more recently. We are also in a semi-final and you're not.
Kenny does not do the transfers really - Commoli does.
We don't have a current owner. We are owned by 17 different assorted millionnaire and billionnaire owners and the prospect of going into financial trouble is extremely low as a result.
Think before you post or at least know what you're on about.

We have won a trophy more recently than you. End of mate.
Why are you named after a grumpy comedian? Is it supposed to be ironic?

You're a complete joke and aren't even considered a big club in European football anymore. Haven't been in the CL for 2 years. That's unacceptable for a so called big club. Face it, over the last 2 decades you've been in our shadow. If you can't accept you're well and truly deluded.
Shadow? Arsenal don't havea shadow and have never won the EC.
You joker!
Come back to me when you've won the PL
No CL football for 2 years, soon to be 3
To everyone, apart from the media who are up your backsides, you're a joke
how many times have Liverpool finished above Arsenal in the Wenger era?? all this history is well and good but in my life time i've seen Arsenal do a hell of a lot more than Pool, and i'd rather that than bang on about stuff that happened before i was born

Wenger has been in charge since 1997. After a few very successful years, since 2004 its all gone backwards. Which is why Arsenal get so much stick.
Kenny isn't under pressure because he's only been here since January.
Its as simple as that really.

Not too sure, AVB has been in charge of Chelsea for much less, had spent less then Kenny and Chelsea are above Liverpool. Still AVB is already under pressure.
we've gone 'backwards' at a time when billionaire owners have come in, the teams finishing above us have spend multiple times more money than us. so it's all relative.. .we don't have the luxury of spending £75m on Carroll, Downing and Henderson Liverpool have bought 9 or 10 players for higher than our record transfer fee, but don't finish above us very often
Kenny is loved by all the ex Liverpool players and fans in the media, he can do absolutely no wrong. Lets face it they would have been questioning his crazy transfer policy and their very poor home results long ago if he wasn't.

Kroenke and Usmanov are both billionaires. You have money to spend you just don't want to. Wenger wants to carry on with his pet project.

AVB is under pressure for different reasons to Arsenal. We all know Abramovich doesn't have that much patience with managers and so AVB had to make a good start straight away. At the moment, he hasn't improved on Ancelotti, so he under pressure.
Kenny is doing better than our last manager, so less pressure.
