Don't think Koke's quite good enough to play in the creative role.
He looks a bit more workman-like from what I've seen of him

ffs
madrid faves for gund in journos eyes
Centre back can wait. Jones, Evans and Smalling can all come good. Moyes needs to decide if any of his right backs are worth playing, too, because Smalling simply isn't a full back.
It would be foolish to alter the squad too much at once so I couldn't imagine more than 2 big signings and a few youth players.
Gundogan won't go to United, I'm calling it now.

Take out all of the words in that sentence except for the first two and you have my response.
Koke is one of the most creative players in Europe, they dont call him the new Xavi because of his work rate
Going Yoda on me there.
Meh. He's better as a central midfielder. Rooney/Mata would play the creative role

he rarely plays in the centre for Atleti this season, he plays more from the right
Central midfielders can be creative.
Last season Rafael was one of Utds best players, was out injured for a while this but has yet to be as good (from what I have seen)
If fit and on last seasons form then no excuse to play Jones or Smalling there.

and this, Paul Scholes was a CM, Xavi is a CM, Pogba is a CM, Ramsey is a CM
koke has like 200 million assists this season
I didn't say he wasn't creative, I just said he's not quite good enough to play the role consistently. He's better as a CM, where creating chances would be seen as a bonus almost
I think Moyes is trying to move towards a 4-2-3-1, whomever he signs.
just pasted 'gundogan' into an assignment

But I didn't say that he wouldn't be a CM.

what happened to the days when you must have one destroyer sitting next to a creator for the deep midfield two?
I used these "< >" instead of brackets in an assignment once.
i want sahin + muhammed demirci

I really want to play this.
i remember about 5 years ago the midfield benchmark was something like what liverpool had
alonso - mascherano
Fletcher before his injury was a superb DM. The more he plays, the more he'll get back to that. I'd have him in the midfield with another energetic centre midfielder.
Don't think there are many "destroyers" around tbh.
