You seem to have a mild case of a double personality disorder. You are asking yourself questions, believing you are asking somebody else, then answering them.
But ok, let's play your game, keep you happy whilst you are on the Liverpool board, wouldn't want you to think we're an unfriendly kind.
Let's say he cost 20m. Which we both know is false. He has not kicked a ball yet. So as Liverpool fans we will give him a chance. That is what we do and what I'm sure you tend to do, in respect to your own club.
So what I am basically saying is, come back in a few years and share your opinion then.
Until then, kindly goto your own board or at least add something positive or interesting to an article while you are here. The forum is becoming boring with people like yourself constantly WUMing about the same topic. Think of something new at least.

I think he's going to do okay, eventually. Nothing brilliant, but nothing too shameful. I doubt he'll be wearing a red shirt for too long, though.

What a shame for you lot that we bought him. You could of used the money from the Modric sale to buy him
It'll be a great shame if Levy goes back on the solemn promise he's made to the general public (ie that he won't sell Moddy at any price, to any one), because Moddy is not only our best player, but one of the best players in Europe. That's why the likes of the Russian and Old Bacon Face want him. I'm flattered they do, and I fully expected that we'd be facing this kind of interest.
But, if Levy did go back on his word (and I doubt he will, he has far too much pride), it would only be for an inordinately disgustingly large amount of cash, and we'd use it to invest in other areas where we need to improve. In the meantime, we'll still have the likes of THudd, Sandro, VDV, Pienaar, Lennon, Jenas, Kranjcar & Bale in midfield positions, which isn't too shabby.
Personally, I'd like to see us blow £40 million on a top quality striker and £20 million on a marque CB. Even without Moddy, we'd still have more than enough talent to blow you away, and finish 4th.
