Well done on the three points
Says it all when you're getting sympathy from the (formerly) bottom team.
Good luck for the rest of the season, you might just make it now.
Stick with what? We're relegated. I'd bet my life-savings, my car, my job and my mrs on it. Only 1 team has got out of the position we're in now in 2 decades and I'm pretty damn sure they didn't have Liverpool and Man U to still play twice. Brian Clough couldn't keep us up now.
Brian Clough could'nt keep any team up now, I'll break it to you gently he died, in all seriousness though, when you get your players back from injury you have a very good chance of beating the drop as have we, all the promoted teams have blazed a path in the first half of the season, but as always happens they will fall away, and sorry Jason Lowe I was'nt offering sympathy merely a passing comment that you were very unlucky tonight.

There is alot of bad teams this year win some games and we are out of it saying that I still think we will go down

Win... some games, under Kean?
You won't go down, you have too many good players.

It's all well and good asking that Kean be sacked ( which by the way I agree with, we had Megson don't forget) but who could you attract with the comedy circus owners you unfortunately inherited. Not a lot of acclomplished managers would want to work for them.

Yeah but over a season it doesn't really work like that. The team that finishes 18th always manages 35-40 points. It doesn't matter how many bad teams there are in the league, you can almost guarantee that will happen.
So we need a minimum of 25 points from the next 21 games. Scratch Man U x 2, Liverpool x 2, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham. Now we need 25 points from 13 games, roughly champions league form. Can't be done, not even Big Sam could save us now.
I don't agree fourth from bottom club will not get to 40 points they may get to 35 points
Agreed skinovers, theres so many inconsistent teams this season, and if you catch one of the Sky 6 on a bad day, results can happen, it's not over for either of our teams, not by a long shot.
A lot of promoted teams get a boost from coming up, but mid-late season they start falling apart, I'm praying that's gonna happen this season.
Yes it is. Maybe not for you, your unfinished games from the first round of 19 are Newcastle and Wolves at home, ours are Liverpool and Man U away. In 10 days time you could quite easily be on 18 points whereas we, barring a miracle, will still be on 10. See if you still think we have a chance then.
No it is'nt

Agreed Rovers are 5 points from 16th and there next game is arsenal away it's not over it's going to be tough but it's not over
blueandwhitehalves it aint about the next 2 games, it's about the next 23 and you have in your locker as we do to be better than more than 3 other teams, thats all we need to be.
Thought Bolton were fractionally the better of two very poor teams. They appeared to be more confident which imo was helped by the support of their fans. Rovers fans abuse probably cost them the game. Just look at Sambas face during and after the game. He looked visibly shocked.
Bolton won because their manager hasnt got an inferior managerial record to Tony Adams. Kean has had plenty of support during his reign and we were generally useless then too.
