Do you think the Suarez/Evra case has been altered by his comments? - no
What do neutral fans think? - i think it's the right decision, however i also think that Evra's conduct should have also been investigated.
If Rio can get 8 months for not failing, but missing a drugs test, to be found guilty of racial abuse, he's gotten off incredibly lightly.
Yet more inconsistencies from the FA. It’s laughable.
LFC have stated the only evidence offered by the FA was Evra's. It's laughable.
Do you think the Suarez/Evra case has been altered by his comments?
Most definitely
Do Liverpool fans accept this decision? Or do you still think that he is innocent?
Going on the evidence that we know I think it is a ridiculous decision. I actually cannot fathom how they have come to it.
We are all united

I'm more angry about FIFA then Evra and their failure to be consistent

---------------------------------
missing a test in all sports is treated as having failed one, to stop people simply 'missing' one when they know they will fail. on that basis, he actually got off lightly compared to bans that have been handed down in other sports.

No
Suarez has ADMITTED saying something previously
It seems it is the independant panel's interpretation of what Suarez said
To suggest they are simply taking Evra's word is laughable as that does not constitute evidence whatsoever.
I definitely think Suarez needs a wrist slap by way of a fine for using a term that could be interpreted as racially offensive in English culture. If it happens again then by all means punish him or others using similar teams more severely. It sends out a message of intolerance and that ignorance to connotations of foreign words is not an excuse and beholden to the employing club to point that out to the player on their first day of employment. A hefty fine should suffice in this and Terry's case.
However to place an 8 game ban is ludicrous on another mans testimony without any impartial corroboration.
Do the FA have an agenda with FIFA and Sepp Blatter? Absolutely.

The Independent Regulatory Commission will provide written reasons for its decision in due course setting out:
(a) the findings of fact made by it;
(b) the reasons for its decision finding the charge proved; and
(c) the reasons for the penalty.
-----------------------
Assuming that this will come to light before the ban starts, hopefully we will have a fuller picture of the situation and articles can be written dealing with facts rather than speculation.

What conduct? Using abusive language on a football field and calling an opponent a nasty name? That happens every game.
Or are you referring to something else?

What about the lesser bans for players that have failed and missed tests in the same sport? Are they not more relevant. Rio offered to provide a hair sample - you cant remove trace of drugs in your hair until it grows out. Pretty obvious that he wasnt guilty and the ban was harsh.

the phrase he used, which induced suarez to come out with his, could very easily also be construed as racial. Suarez stated he hadn't heard it, but Evra admitted to it in his evidence.

doesn't matter. he missed a test. you miss a test, you get prosecuted for it.
The inconsistency of rulings and punishment for everything they decide is shocking.

but doesn't this show how pathetic and amateurish the fa are when they themselves pick and choose which of their own rules they wish to follow and alter punishments on a case by case basis rather than having a set procedure where everyone is treated the same?
We are all United. I think I know what you're saying. You as United fans knew deep down that Rio wasn't a drug cheat and all he was guilty of carelessness. This is where I can see similarities with the Suarez case. But the difference is I'm assuming the guidelines were already in place for missing a test so he would of known the consequences.
>>but doesn't this show how pathetic and amateurish the fa are
yes it does
The thing with Rio was that there was a Man City player, cannot remember his name but the point is he was not very high profile, who did exactly the same thing and did not get a 9 month ban - he got a fine. That's why he was hard done by.

Exactly what I was referring to.
And a fine to these guys (all millionaires) is like you forgetting to retrieve your pound coin from the shopping cart...nothing more than an .... 'ah well, who cares'!
