You lot are a dsigrace.
You make out that you are in support of kicking racism out of football but you fail to see that this whole issue takes the Kick Racism out of Football debate back a few steps. This wasn't anything to do with racism, it was ignorance. A racial slur was made borne out of ignornace and not racism. Racism in football is about why some fans of Eastern European throw bananas at black footballers. Why some fans still boo black players. Why there are hardly any black football managers. Why there are no Aisan footballer playing in the leagues. It about equal treatment of all colours, including white people. This whole situation has trivialised the race debate.
I don't condone the ignorant comments made by Suarez but it was just that - ignorance. There was no racial malice behind it- his own grandfather is black.
Liverpool will appeal it and should rightly get the ban shortened. Then what happens, when there is a serious race issue, this particular scenario sets the precedent. The FA have truly fcked up on this and you lot are lapping it up. It shows that a lot more people need to be edcuated on the race cause. You think its just about words, it not at all. It is to do with actions. Real racism is the behaviour and mindset of people, it not about the odd racial slur. A racial slur is wrong, and should be punished accordingly but this 8 match ban makes a mockery of the Kick Racism out of Football campaign.

Oh, i see, now fatjan has decided to tell us what is and isn't racism.
he made a racist remark. be it out of ignorance or malice is irrellevent. he did it, and must now face the punishment for doing it. personally i feel the fact that Liverpool aren't just accepting it and moving on and making sure it never happens again reflects incredibly badly on the club, as they appear to be condoning it.
Yes, he made a mistake - but even mistakes need to be punished when they cause offence.
If your in this country, surely you abide by the laws? I fail to see how ignorance is any excuse
Is it not Suarez and Liverpool's job to educate their players on what the rules/laws are?
