the story is not important, he could of had the operation and he did'nt it's in the past move on.

LIW....imo the players that we have here are because of the fantastic history we've had, & because of us the fans, like you say football is close knit i doubt very much that players want to come here because of the current regime at ER....and no i wouldn't ,i'd do exactly what everyone else does run the contract down & say goodbye....

As I have repeatedly said, KB is a destroyer of morale. I have been at a firm with similar leadership for a number of years and it is not pretty to work under such conditions. At least my leader does not make statements about us to the local press, at least I hope not!

This is not the past, it is the present and the future while that vile individual still owns the club.

The injury was in the past, the decision to not have the operation was in the past, the decision to have the operation 3 months later was in the past. The point is, Bates decision to blame it on Becchio through the YEP is in the present. The sooner that man either stops making stupid comments about the team and players, or preferably sells up and shifts out, the sooner we will be able to buy or keep players. No wonder players run their contracts down so he gets nothing. No one to blame but Bates IMO.

Awake to the fact that Bates is the person who makes rash comments about the team and the supporters. Why do YOU think players won't sign or renew contracts? Could it be lack of support from up high? And why are crowds down? Could it be that in his eyes we are morons? The point of this article is not about the injury, it is about the lies we keep getting told by one person in particular.

I actually am shocked reading Bates' comments, which I shouldn't be considering who it is. Why would you say that about your own player? How's Becchio and his team mates going to feel about that?

Bates and Grayson make some terrible comments to the media that could kill players' confidence.
