I all ways think Eddie Gray is fair.
Eddie and lorimer re different.
Lorimer is just a bates mouthpiece with little credibility with the fans.
Eddie gives the benefit of the doubt to the club time and again through loyalty, but holds a higher level of respect from fans.
Matteo is more forthright and I respect him trying to be diplomatic but you can read between the lines of his comments.
'He asks why Palace players seem to have more energy and ambition than the Leeds players. But then he doesn't conclude that it's probably because their manager has more energy and ambition than the Leeds manager!'
Credit to Palace they were one of the favourites to go down and have played some excellent football (Elland Road included) and are currently 8th and in the semi final of the carling cup, yet they are still behind us.

Think it's an average squad that has to play 100% every game to achieve results, which is not feasible in a season.
'Has he forgotten the poor start to this season?'
Reading also started this season poorly it can happen in a very competitive league.
'Has he forgotten the poor run of results that saw us as low as 16th last season?'
The only ambition last season was survival, after buying rejects for the defence and Paynter and Ross to replace our top scorer the previous 3 seasons no-one saw a playoff push.
