The standards at UTD are high, every player knows what's expected.
He's lucky a younger SAF didn't find out on the day, cos he would've stormed into the restaurant, and dragged them out.
I hink the point is they were worse for wear the next day for training, setting a bad example, and it nips it in the bud for anyone thinking, 'if they can, why can't i?'
They got lucky and SAF sacrificed the team, in order for a Discipline and standard that cannot slip, under any circumstances.
This needed to happen, if the reports are true.
UTD will be the better for it and the players will be crapping themselves to keep a high level, or else.
In SAF we trust.....
What is wrong in going out for a meal with your wife?
It obviously affected his training performance the next day Southlondonmanc.
I'm glad SAF still has this attitude towards discipline, thats one reason why we hired him in 1986.
The modern stereotype of arrogant, overpaid footballer tends to think differently, so i hope it doesn't put them off us.
Can you imagine a Balotelli signing for us?
Nothing, but coming in the next day hungover is.
And punishment is deserved.
Ask Giggsy the day SAF found out that he a few players got together for a house party, only for SAF to find out, storming in at 1 in the morn, and dragging them out

Haha! Lee Sharpe has told this story a few times, apparently Giggsy was on the phone to his mum bricking it that he was going to be thrown out of United, glory days!
And how did Giggsy's career go after that?
Greatest of all time, or something to that affect......

I suppose he's done ok for himself, although know one would have heard about Ryan Giggs had it not been for the media exposure he got from getting with Imogen Thomas!
Ryan Giggs, sleeping his way to the top since 2011.
I've always wondered who the other trainees were that were hiding in one of the upstairs cupboards during that house party when the manager burst through the door. I can remember Lee Sharpe saying that the manager never knew about them.
Ha ha...imogen Thomas! Ah Giggsy, wot a legend.

Ha ha, didn't know about that, I wonder who.
The neville bros, becks, prehaps......
But Rooney could easily have had those drinks at home.
Alcohol is not exclusive to restaurants.
Southlondonmanc.....
Fine, whatever, but we don't know all the details, but the one that stands out, is that he was hungover the next day.
Do you not have a problem with our talisman being drunk at training?
I had never heard of Imogen Thomas until Giggs brought her to the worlds attention.

And now you have her 2012 calendar on your wall!
August is a corker!!
Yes, a bad move by the great one, as he now believes she wasn't setting him up.
Guess he panicked, and made a bad decision.
