In my opinion your average pisssed up lout on a Saturday night is more of a threat to other members of the public than your average homeless person.
Living on the street or spending my life in a psychiatric hospital are two situations that I would never wish to find myself in. Poor standard of living and quality of life in both of them.
Whether they are out on the street through their own actions or not, that doesn't mean that a) they deserve to be and b) that they do not deserve the charity or kindness of others.
Regardless, you say Balotelli should be giving money to 'working class people' who in your opinion are 'more deserving' - what makes one working class family more deserving of charity than another? He can't exactly give out to every family in the City, and if he did that would only cause shops to inflate their prices so the whole act would be pointless.
I seriously hope you're just on the wum, which would make you a sad individual, rather than a fool.
Why wum about something like that, it's beyond poor taste and shows a lack of education an empathy!
He can't exactly give out to every family in the City,
---------------------
No he can't. So why did he choose a tramp?
We have seriously ill people, wounded soldiers, people who are the victims of crime. People like this aren't helped properly.
Yet you consider giving money to a worthless tramp a good deed?
This sort of attitude needs to change if our country is to recover.
I spose giving money to the rioters is a good thing as well?
Like it or not it's up to him and nobody else who he gives his money... and rioters?? god your getting worse
I imagine he chose a homeless person because they easy to spot and are a worthy charitable cause. Rather than going up to a healthy well dressed member of the public and asking whether or not they would like a grand, to which the answer would 100% of the time be yes, whether they needed it or not.
What puzzles you about people in need not being given sufficient aid when we have a conservative government?
'worthless tramp' - There is a theory that when an internet thread descends to people using the term 'Nazii' to insult others on the thread, that the discussion is no longer worth having, however in this case, seriously?..
I also question why you seem to think giving loose change to a homeless person is some sort of contributory factor to a) the recession and b) rioting.

I don't recall the last Labour governemt making anyone better off except lawyers and bankers, but lets not get that political

It shows people have their attitudes wrong. That they give sympathy to non-workers whilst relentlessly charging people who have a job.
Of course it's up to Balotelli who he gives his money to, but it's not the right person he should be targeting. The fact people praise him for it proves my point about people having the wrong attitudes.
You're a complete Richard!
Balotelli knows all about the "working man". The working man is trying to rip him off for the repairs to the "fireworked" house. The days when the working man was an artisan and a craftsman are long gone. Ask a plumber to repair a leak and they seem to think they deserve the pay of a brain surgeon. I would rather Balotelli gave money to the homeless than to the greedy "working man".
I didn't say anything about Labour, who are more a centre party now anyway.
I haven't 'relentlessly charged' anyone who has a job either. You're putting words in my mouth here aren't you.
Homeless people deserve charity because they have a poor quality of life, they may not contribute much to society, but nor do they take much from it. In no way am I out on the street every night giving out cuppa soups, because charity starts at home, but for someone who has as much spare change as a Premiership footballer, helping those in need can only be a positive thing.

No i'm not.
It's an attitude in society that everyone is fine as long as they've got a job, and they don't need any help. So they get burdened with taxes, high mortgate and fuel rates, and beaurocracy.

Yes they do. If people like you are happy to divide your wealth amongst them, so they can spend it on drugs and other bad things, they are a very serious burden on society.
And it does water me off when randomers ask me for money in the street, it's nothing more than rudeness.
Yes you are, you said I'm sympathetic towards people who don't work and unsympathetic to those who do. Not sure how you've reached that conclusion from anything I've said.
I don't divide my wealth among them because I am not wealthy, I merely think they are a worthy charitable cause for those that do. If you can't afford fuel or a mortgage then don't buy a house or car, it's called spending within your means.
I will also add that if I were going to spend all day every day in the street with nothing to do, I'd rather be off my head than stone cold sober so at least for that brief moment I can imagine I'm somewhere else. Albeit that probably doesn't help in terms of getting off the street.
And it does water me off when randomers ask me for money in the street, it's nothing more than rudeness.
If it makes you feel uncomfortable then it's you who has the problem.
This article is so blatantly obvious that it ranks up there with stefano penkino in terms of wumming.
Try to make it more subtle next time eh?
