Instead of questioning the motives and business practices of Whyte (he has dragged your clubs rep through the mud via the courtroom steps) the average bear seems happy to deflect, deny and hide behind whitabootery. The arrogance of 'RaPeepul' will ill serve them...it's probably already too late
Noo wheres that popcorn...

How else could Celtic afford to pay someone £65k pw?
DC76 - c'mon even our Club had to ask for the ticket money upfront for the OF game in case you went bust meantime.

If rangers are so secure how come ex-directors, legal firrms, maintenance firms and HMRC have taken them to coiurt and frozen some of their assets until they've paid up??
Is that the same situation as six months ago??
Balde had two very bad injuries during his last few years at the club and WGS favoured both McManus and Caldwell. He still contributed to league title wins and more importantly, CL qualification which made his last contract easily affordable even if MON should never have approved it when he knew he was leaving the club.

DC I would call being comptent in business<o>
I'd say we aren't really in a different position to six month ago when we signed guys for three years and five years at a time.

You were still in Europe then

I certainly wouldn't deny we're in a potentially serious position.
Though that's not the same thing as accepting everything that gets put on Celtic fans' websites (or the second-hand versions that find their way on here).
DC..Ye can slag off pistol as much as you want, maybe if you had a guy like him at ya club..youse lot would not be up against HMRC..

Laudrup the OP's point is very valid - why would anyone do business with your club during the January window on the basis of a credit line
