i don't watch their respective leagues, so i can't say who's better.

What I can say is that on FM, Moussa and Podolski are rated about the same; both are good players, but neither are VERY GOOD players... wish we could get a wonderkid ala Gotze, but I dont think thats realistic anymore considering our club standing.

btw, what position r u considering when u mention these 2? Backup to RvP, or a replacement for Walcott/ Gervinho, cutting in from the flank? If the latter, then defo Podolski, but if the former, i reckon Moussa's the better lone striker, but would either of them settle for 10 minute cameos if RvP goes without injury for a long time??

Sow is off to the ACON, so would not be available until mid- February. Then he will take time to settle in, so would be a waste of time buying him now, as we need someone who can come into the team now.

The reason we need a striker is to compensate for Gervinho and Chamakh leaving for ACON.. not one to leave with them

Apart from the 'bedding in period' I think it would be a good move.

We have Henry until the end of ACON anyway. So there's no need for the slapping of foreheads in that respect.

Although no doubt he'd pick up a season-long injury knowing our luck
