Apart from Gerrard in a few cameos we don't seem to have a player who can get the ball onto Carroll's forehead................or near it
Didi - I think he has turned it around for England in the last year or so - 4 goals in 8 is not bad.
I've just read this from Kenny and I'm fuming.
City's opening goal found the back of the net after Aguero's shot from the edge of the area bounced under the body of Reina.
Journalists quizzed Dalglish on whether he felt his goalkeeper was at fault.
He replied: "I noticed they changed the ball just after it, so maybe that was something to do with it?
What utter bollox!!!!

Less reading, more questioning part-time.
The situation with Carroll is hard to judge at this relatively early stage. He does need more service, without doubt in my mind, but his positional sense seems a bit off to me. I think this is largely down to understanding his role in the team, something which rarely happens overnight, he needs to mature and gather more football experience and also gain some confidence which lets face it, all strikers need.
