It's not a conspiracy theory Vidicschin, it's mostly true, although probably exaggerative in certain publications.
And the HMRC have a lot of difficult questions to answer.

What are all the facts behind this, the link doesn't tell us anything and looks like it could have been written by a twelve year old.

Be very surpised if Goldman Sachs have produced their accounts that would reflect on this tax break if it was only last year.

It's been widely publicised in the media after a whistleblower revealed a large amount of tax breaks given to Goldman Sachs, Vodafone and a number of other large companies last year.
Since then, Hartnett, the previous tax secretary has suddenly and unexpectedly announced his imminent retirement and the HMRC are witholding information due to 'taxpayer confidentiality'.
Since then he's admitted the being the man behind the deals.
Goldman Sachs owe over £20m in unpaid tax and it's believed to be the tip of the iceberg.

Looks to me like this was done under the watch of our previuos government.
Be interesting to know what was prommised to these companies.
In the US some of these type of firms, and probably GS, were given tax breaks as well. It was part of 'backhand deals' that would keep the economy going, and stop going into deep recession.
Mainly they were given the tax breaks for a reason, and not just for the hell of it.
I am quite intrested in this sort of thing, so will be paying close attention to it. Usually the Daily Mail is all over this sort of thing.
