..Bates will have the final say and will hammer the last nail in SG's coffin should we fail to win at home v Ipswich...this is a must win match for Grayson ...he will not escape this time..last time Ross got him out of jail...failure to take 3pts at home must be the end for him
GO, you heard, i mean saw!.
Grayson Out will be the new manager then!
Bates might keep Grayson just to %*ss the fans off.
..Bates loves the limelight and needs to stir it soon..he will want to be seen as a ruthless owner who demands success a-la Abramovich....he will sack SG its just a matter of when..many of us would prefer that this happens sooner than and before our league position becomes a joke..
I agree GBZ. Sooner rather than later.
..if we dont beat Ipswich at home the boos will grow and the decision will be made for him...ER should have been a fortress this season...the Burnley match was won at the death and saved him..no three points v Ipswich and he HAS to go...I only hope that if this happens that Warnock is still available coz he would be my 1st choice..
Sorry you all, had to have a little something to eat, build the ol sugar levels up!..
Funny how people say "Bates will this and Bates will that"!.
He has already said that Grayson and the Players have to get us out of this League, and I think maybe after a little "soul searching" that he also mentioned a week or ten back that maybe he's decided to give Grayson the players people on here seem to be taking a lot of interest in!..
I have a feeling last past years Bates didn't want to go up and pulled the strings to make it a little harder for Grayson, but the way he's been talking these last few weeks maybe things have changed, the same as the ownership of our club did just before people thought we were going to make the play off's last time round, anybody remember that?..
Strange or what?..
"I only hope that if this happens that Warnock is still available coz he would be my 1st choice.."
Doe's it really matter what choice anyone on here has, I don't think so!..
Oh well, I thought the big boys might have wanted a pop at this!..
Amazing how when someone sets a few easy questions nobody wants to know, you'd think they were unanswerable!..
Have a good en you all, and don't let Grayson get to ya's!.
Beloved boss? Hes not my beloved boss. Hes the manager of the football club I love and whilst I support him as it stands, I don't think he's the man for the job. Managers, chairman and players all go at some point, the club is always there. That's where my loyalty lies, not with a player, manager or chairman.
How can you support him if you don't think he's the man for the job?
because he currently has the job!
But he's not the man for it!
maybe not but some will support the manager while he is still the incumbent irrespective of whether he is the right man for the job!
Lurker that is exactly what i meant.
But GO, I agree hes not the man for the job, but thats just my opinion.
But that doesn't make sense.
Would you support a coach driver if he was steering you all over the road?
A decent manager (not Grayson) would
1. Get the best out of our talent that we have, Loanees, Nunez seem to falter under SG
2. Wld stand up to Bates and demand proper policies
3. Know his strongest team
4. Would sign decent players not players like Pugh, Connolly, Odea, Collins Bessone and the other 14 I cant be bothered to name.
5. Wld sort out defence once and for all
6. Wld have DECENT connections, not Blackppol ffs
Wld love to see Warnock get it, will get us diciplined, playing gd football and we'll be hated again as we'll be harder, meaner and stronger, not a hoofball to Nunez team. Di Matteo turned W Brom into a gd footballing team, dint have quality in team but still got them playing some gd stuff
But that doesn't make sense.

Brilliant
If Grayson was the coach driver and GO was stood infront of him I'd support him yep I would!.
For the anti's, I said a lot of times that I'll stand by him because the table doesn't say we're doing bad, and the funny thing is all the players being talked about the past few days, some on here have said well if that was to happen!..
Well if it did I take it it had nothing to do with Grayson, but at the same time if all the players talked about don't then that'll be Graysons fault won't it?..
Players asked for are usually the ones wanted, but players coming in are not always the ones wanted, like I've also said, in the past Bates has had a good reason for not wanting to go up, but he these last few weeks has changed the tone in his voice, so we'll see in the next week or so if he's the fault or not, because if the players so many here are talking about come in then we'll have the players that so many think will do whats wanted, if not then there must be other reasons why Grayson isn't getting what he wants, because the list of players being attached to this club but for reasons unknown to most go elsewhere is getting longer!..
I do not think the players talked about but go elsewhere has much to do with Grayson!..
But like everyone says, the buck stops at the managers door and he's the easiest to blame!..
I'll bet the agents from these players won't let Bates do things on the cheap, and if he tries then other clubs will be in with a shout!..
Then the leftovers will be the call of the day!..
I think Grayson is capable of getting us promoted. Whether he does or not remains to be seen. I will readily admit that he is not perfect but I still think he has proven to be a valuable asset to the club.
Whether or not he is the man for the job, getting rid of Grayson will not be a quick fix. We do not have a team good enough for another manager to step in and take us up in the remainder of the season. I think stability is more important than slightly improving the managers position as every manager needs time to reach his potential.
It's interesting that, on here, the overwhelming majority are in favour of Grayson leaving as it is not what I have found at the games. Most of the people I have spoken to at games seem to support Grayson. At the last three games I have been to (Burnley, Barnsley and Reading) the crowd sang out in support of Grayson. I have never heard any Grayson out chants/songs at any game I have been to.
