Dalglish has made 3 shocking signings in 6 months.

While I wasn't excited, I expected Downing to up his game as I didn't rate him that much. So far though he's been poor. Maxi and Bellamy have been miles better.

Downing has been mince this season, his crossing is abysmal and he is also gutless on the pitch going missing when the going gets tough.

He's part of the reason Carroll has struggled this season.

Henry said it's imperative Liverpool make top 4, no excuses. He is gonna sack Dalglish.

I felt what Liverpool needed at the time of his signing was a left winger. Then I heard we were getting Downing I was glad that an area which I feel was a bit of a problem position for us recently was finally being recognised. Even in his first few games I was still positive about the move, but by God he has been woeful to date. A winger that can't beat a man or cross a ball is pointless!

They are still too young and inexperienced.
Raheem only turned 17 few months ago and isn't a striker.
Have to say though that I'd rather play Shelvey that Adam..

I think SouthLondonManc will need a hug if he doesn't get his bite soon...

I would like to see Kenny take a wee risk, and perhaps put a player from the youth ranks on the bench. There's no harm if your struggling to score a goal to do something different.

Perhaps Nathan Ecclestone pace or Sterlings guile or Susos creativity?

Or Coady for DM since Lucas and Spearing are out injured.

Also, what do you think should happen if you guys don't finish in the top 4. Your owner said it's imperative the club secure a champions league place, so do you think Dalglish will be sacked if it's not a successful premier league season for Liverpool?

I think they'll sack him.

Honestpool

Coady out of all the youth players is the closest to making the step up so that's a good call.

It would just be nice to have some more attacking options to add to our very miserly defence.

And to Op it's not a black and white thing. If we don't make top 4 Kenny may stay on. It all depends on the manner we. I still think we'll make top 4 if Kenny sign the right players.

I think Downing can perform better than he has.

Transfer fees don't bother me, it's not my money, so as long as the club has it, why should I care?

So far, regardless of transfer fee, other than the first month of the season he hasn't been good enough, but I don't think we have seen his best yet.

Whether he reaches that best is debatable, but he is good enough to be in the squad of a CL team.

He shouldn't be starting every game though, but thats the lack of depth we have in wide areas.

We have four players capable of playing wide, three are over 30, and two of those are really strikers who 'do a job' in the wide position.

Until we buy top class players who can play wide (they don't have to be wingers, wingers are a dying breed anyway), we won't make the top 4 because the competition is too fierce.

I would be happy with Downing as a squad player to be rotated, but we haven't got the quality to do that at the moment.

Let's be honest, Kenny's signings have been no better than Hodgson's, and the difference is Hodgson didn't fork out half as much on them.

Like Konchesky and Poulsen
Go wash your mouth...

Konchesky or Enrique?

Poulsen or Henderson?

Hmm tricky one.

Kenny has spent upwards of £100m in 6 months.
