top scorer in the league last year, anyone seen him play?
Haven't seen him play that much, is he any good? I'd have Remy though
why is this on the super spurs board?
Don't think you can judge a player based on performances in the french league, Look at how well Cole is doing and look how Chamakh was touted as the best thing since Frogs legs.
Tippy tappy, cabaye is doing well
To be fair, if we said that about every player, from every foreign league the Premier League would only consist of British players...
Sow currently keeps Demba Ba out of the Senegal team.
I am not saying that means he is going to come to England and bang the goals in, but he must have some quality, and at 25 has his peak years ahead of him.
We don't have the best record with Senegalese players though....

And look how well Cabaye is doing Or the likes of Nasri, Clichy etc who all came from Ligue 1.
Sow is one of my favourite Ligue 1 players, but hasn't been in the same kinda form this year as last.. Mainly because Lille haven't been able to dominate the league this season. It's the PSG and Montipellier players who look most attractive at the minute, Giroud and Gameiro mainly.
Remy also looks good but personally, i'd still rate Sow above him. I think he'd do well in England.
Only seen clips on Youtube, which to be fair can make Bruno Cheyrou look good.
Sow looks strong and quick, a good finisher. He scored a great overhead kick last season.
But as others have said, we'll never know how good he is for us until he joins. Morientes was quality in Spain but poor here.
I wouldn't say no to him. Better then Carroll and Kuyt anyday. The question is whether he can prove himself in the PL
Stick him up front with Carroll problem solved.

This rumour looks like it might have a litte weight behind it.
What's he like as a player? Would he work with Suarez?
From what I've seen he's very much like Demba Ba, quite a bit of pace and scores on a regular basis.
He's also good mates with Hazard.
I would line the up like this
Back four picks it's self
Hendo-------Gerrard-----Downing
----Suarez-----Carroll------Sow------
I'd say:
Adam Hendo Gerrard
Downing Sow Suarez
Sow mainly plays down the middle of Lilles forward 3. Which has turned to more of a 4-5-1 since Gervinho left.
Don't think you would get the most out of him playing wide left Agger.

Yet everyone in the world is after Hazard? Go figure!
Maybe a permanent swap for Cole as he seems to like it there and is doing well. Maybe it would benefit both clubs.

You could well be right, and it suits Liverpool playing with a five man midfield so our 35m man would drop out.
Sow doesn't know what he wants, just a few months ago he was pining after arsenal, now he wants to play in front of the Kop? Methinks he just wants more money.
