Evening Harj.
Got to respect that.
KB must be quaking
Quaking with laughter
Great passion, but no alternative.
Chorley, if Bates does do that, then it exposes him
for what he is: a disrespectful b@#%ard who does not belong at LUFC.
luff, do you think he will be worried by it?
chorley its a start.....we may see more...
Chorley, no. Not in the slightest. But, as Harj
said. It's a start. Bigger than that, those fans
got off the rears and used all they really have
to let Bates know what they think: their voices.
And I respect the heck out of them for that.
It shows they love their club.
harj, may well do.
But won't achieve anything.
I love my club, as do all Leeds fans.
I just have different opinions to some.
Interesting to hear Harveys name mentioned as well. The board is killing our great club!
Wasn't dismissing you Chorley.
But, how many pro-Bates fans show that conviction?
I've not seen one gathering chanting his name in support.
Batty, no I just go to ER, support the team, buy my programme, have a drink in the pavillion etc
Batty, I've got nothing against those who want to protest, but I don't neccessary think it's going to help with anything. In fact I think:
1. It will turn away investors. Who wants to think that they could be calling my name if the fans don't agree with me.
2. Less money into the club is actually counter productive on two levels. Firstly the manager has less funds and secondly Bates doesn't lose money as he's not using his own money.
I have other feelings, but it's late and time for sleep
cas...chairmen/boards in the top european sides get a lot of criticism, i don't see potential investors running away from them.....southampton their board have invested in their playing staff wisely & are reaping the rewards...

CasWhite, who in the right mind would invest until Bates leaves?
RSL, so what happens during the vacuum when nobody is owner/chairman???
There will of course be pain, in life when you want change that is normal.
Bates does not have the stomach for a fight, IF the fans do what it takes
Or we could just support Bates which will lead to a slow decaying of a great football club.
Like it or not Bates needs the fans.
What are you basing the statement, "Bates does not have the stomach for a fight" on?
Did I say that I based it on a statement?
Bates is an old man.
He gets upset by a few Bates Out chants.
He gives V sign gestures, calls them morons.
He cant even handle a few words.
Imagine how he would be if we hit him in his weak spot?
Imagine if the fans really turned nasty.
