Just like Newcastle?

Pardew says NO

Funny that hail as the players want to move just like Whyte said he won't be rushing straight in with bids that are stupid(like Lennon) we will test the water first e.g Wallace 300k now we double it to 600k after the player becomes unrestful it's called buisness

Good to see Ibrox being reinstated as one of Europe's elite in keeping with a stadium of Champions.

Just been on Sky Sports News I don't have a link but just from seeing that I can't wait for the new season here's some highlights from the interview:

Confirms Stadium is being restored e.g Screens will be working again soon.

yeah, says he will spend near 2 million yet knows it needs 12 million, and you call it a five star facility...pfffft ....he is only spending 17% of what needs to spent on it...

Confirms Bids have been made for 4 players where deals could be done.

do you really need us to reply to this? would these be first or second choice signings?

Contrary to the press Rangers are in a much better financial position than have been for past 5 years and have money for new signings.

yeah right...rangers directors have already said how bad things are, suddenly, the garden is rosy again...why? cos he said so....

you would think after years in murrays back pocket they would learn...then again

He seems like a good sensible guy who knows a lot about the club and is determined to succeed 4iar here we go.

m8, anyone that took on 20m of debt that didnt know about the club and isnt determined to succeed shouldnt have got close to the front door...

nothing new here at all.

as the rangers directors/past players say, lets see if he puts his money where his mouth is...

Dos fan dan

"villa happy to sell us cuellar, just a price to be agreed"

A price has been agreed, its 3 mil

I may be missing something but rangers seem to be scared off by a price no higher than a lucky bag these days.

Exciting times ahead.

Dos,seems a lot of the bhoys are scared to have a username. Makes sense I suppose, considering the amount of namechanges they went through last year, spoutin pash about trebles, doubles, and league wins. Once bitten, twice shy,I'd guess

Thats it dc, deflect away from the real point here.

I bid 22 bananas for lee wallace,

The real point is your club is doin absolutely heehaw to strengthen a squad quite used to losing, whereas the Gers are lookin to sign some quality players to strengthen a squad well versed in winning titles. The deflection is all on your part, and in reality your false bravado only gives away your fear of 4 in a row

To be fair we dont really have to rush about chasing everyone across country.
Our signins will come and we will be a lot more dignified in doing it.
No opening gambits here

Oh yeah, because bidding £1.5 million for a player to be told by Villa they want £3 million is just like offering 10p for Sneijder. Have we walked away from the deal?

What a total plum you are.

I don't know if you read the papers or even follow football, but clubs put in a lower offer, then the selling club suggest a higher offer.

I know this business thing is difficult for you to comprehend after all you lot only do accounts at Kerrydale.

I can't remember the last time any club put in a bid for a player that was accepted straight away in this century, but if you could enlighten me I would be grateful.

Celtic fans - the intellect of a pea most of them.

MMMMmmm where to start,

Scotlands player of the year- first bid- bid accepted
Kayal- first bid- bid accepted
Scott brown- first bid- bid accepted
Mcgeady to spartak- first bid- bid accepted
ashley young- first bid- bid accepted

But thats right, not one first bid this CENTURY has ever been accepted first time

"Oh yeah, because bidding £1.5 million for a player to be told by Villa they want £3 million is just like offering 10p for Sneijder. Have we walked away from the deal?"

You will walk away from the deal.
Keep buying all the pash though ya roaster

If youreally believe those deals above were all first bids then you need your head looking at.

Aye because we really had to negotiate more than the 650k we paid for larrsson,
Get a grip, if you offer the right valuation first time the deal will be done.
Just because you tight ers holes have not done it in a while is why you are looking like fan dans.

posted on 23/6/11

We aren't looking like fandans at all. You're the only one is you who is looking like a fandan. You're the one trying to point score on normal football business.Trying to pay the least amount of money for a player makes complete sense and every club does it.

Do you get medals or extra trophies for getting players in fast or something?

The transfer window has just opened. I don't see other plums like you on other boards making this daft issue a point scoring exercise ie that a first bid wasn't accepted. I honestly think you need your head looked at. I have never seen anyone try and point score on this.

Why not try and point score on the fact we sell football shirts? Or maybe point score on the fact we sell tickets to games. Or how about the fact we pay our players wages. Is there any other normal thing that clubs do you wish to point score on?

Oh and this topic is now saved in my bookmarks for when we sign Cuellar.

No doubt you will be posted missing when we sign him along with your username like the coward that you are.
