We look good at the moment but so do many other teams, I never thought we'd get to sixth place at all this season so enjoy this run. Problem is, if we don't win 2 games we can drop down to 12th, that's how close things are. We've got some easier away games this end of the season so let's hope we can pick up some points over our travels, we can get a result against anyone at home.
Shame Beausejour looks like he is on his way out, he has looked poor lately but we know that money is going nowhere near the squad so would of rather kept him.
We have started to gell, and to think we have not as of yet got a consistant Striker banging goals in, but Zigic has started to get some and King has started to get them more often since we was out the Europa League.
If these pair can start to carry on with the goals, then i think we can do very well.
Maybe it shows that the Europa League did take a lot out of us and had it not been for that we could be in Top 3....
But i would rather take our position and having that Europa experience rather than say doing a West Ham this season but not Europa.
I think we could be on course for about 80 pts at least. which would put us about 3rd to 4th.

I wouldn't have missed those Europa nights for anything. Over the past few months, I've been more proud of my team than I ever was under McLeish (the Villa, Hammers and, of course, Arsenal games apart - and whatever we all think of Mcleish, he can dine for free for those moments).
But CH just gets on with it. FA Cup? bring it on. Injuries? bring it on. Players off to other teams, bring it on.
Does anyone else think he might be the next Brian Clough - a manager capable of building a team that is so much more than its constituent parts?
Well said....
I had it off a few Dingles saying that being in Europe could be costly and any club would rather be in the Prem.
Yes financially the Prem is great... i dont buy their stance that had we got knocked out of the League Cup by Villa we may had stayed up.....
Its ok for some to say that Prem would be better, for clubs who have been in Europe a fair bit and done well its easy.
But for Blues, what a golden chance, we just cant say if we would ever get back into Europe Again.
Where as even if we got relegated again this season, at some point over next 10-20 years we would have many chances to get Promoted to the Prem.
Can we say we would ever get into Europe again?
As far as Eck goes, well he proved he can Win games and do well, the Cup run was great...
Its just a shame that in the Prem he was far more cautious, in the Cup he went for it, we played 4,4,2 more, we saw others get chances more. We never stuck with the same team and set up (4,5,1 with no propper wingers and Jerome up top).
You have to wonder had McLeish treated the last 10 games as Cup games we would have stayed up.

& still only just second best in the discipline stakes, help stability as we get less suspensions.
