He's clearly a world class talent and you've got the best manager to look after him so I'd keep him and watch him develop.

Fred - My problem is, that as good as he is (or will be) does any team really need a player that they can not trust.

He's your version of Suarez but they're both such quality players that it'd be a same to lose them from the league.

balotelli is a clown and he is right on the edge. his talent is countered by his lack of work ethic and his ability to get himself sent off.

How many matches has he missed through ill discipline this season? 7-8?

I kind of agree with you Fred, but I can't bring myself to support anyone that would deliberately stamp on another person (Assuming that he did do it on purpose)

There should be no room for that type of behaviour anywhere let alone on a football field.

Give him the rest of the season to knuckle down,if there isnt any improvement get rid.The lad is a liability and needs to grow up,it might endear him to others but i find it all tedious

As much as you can't trust Balotelli for his temprement, you can't trust Dzeko either for his... confidence issues?! Not sure to be honest, wouldn't mind us offering Torres a lifeline...

i think torres isnt a bad shout grated,he wouldnt have the pressure of the 50 million price tag around his neck and would be the back up to aguero rather than being seen as the no 1 striker.Straight swap for the runt with alex thrown in?

Would you really trust him when we play Utd (3 games to go) if it is a winner takes all game???
------------------------------------------------------
he is the only striker you have who actually turns up for the big games, so the answer is YES.

Sergio may have scored against united in the FA cup but it was a rebound after he had shot straight at the keeper.Sergio reminds me of Henry, he seems to freeze at times against the bigger sides.

Appreciate Mario, because other fans do.Ask any liverpool fan whether he would have Mario or Carrol, Im sure he will bite your hand off. Not everyone is going to be a Messi and combine great talent with a great attitude from day one..Ronaldo was a tart and so was Drogba, Hell Viera was once described as an Animal after his 2 red cards at the beginning of the season but he is possibly in the top 3 of the greatest midfielders the Prem has ever seen.

Mario is young and will grow up.The most important thing is he seems to know the difference between right and wrong. Its hardly a Pepe kind of case, he may have had intent but he did not mean to stamp on Parkers head.

The most important thing is his team mates seem to back him and so does the manager.
Personally I think any other player with both his feet of the ground would have got the benefit of doubt.Lescotts forearm smash looks worse.

let's be honest, most liverpool fans would rather have a stick of rock than carroll

Not gonna lie, I would actually swap a stick of rock (and Balotelli) for Carroll

Fred please don't tease. I meant in the PL.

I was just beginning to trust him and it is back to square one. I really hope that Souness was wrong when he said Mario would cost us the championship after being sent off at Liverpool. I think he is great but this is not good enough behaviour at this very important time in the season for us. City should fine him his wages for the time he cannot play for us. I do not know how else you can get through to these lads.

Damo

Ah, I see .

I was going to say Silva and Aguero then realised they both play for you guys. Suarez maybe?

I agree Paul, his antics are starting to grate an his performances have been on the whole not that impressive.

Dzeko given a run of games will come good an I trust him a hell of a lot more.

Im a gooner & I hope when you sell we are the first in the queue. If Anelka was able to make it what can stop mario from being explosive even with his attitude issues.

I believe yoiu still get more out of mario with his onfield behaviour as compared to say Kuyt.

Trust me football is played on the pitch, all this nonsense about being a good model pro only contributes 20% to team results.kuyt runs all day but at the end of the day you need goals to win games.

Mario is not match fit so the 4 match ban isnt a huge blow especially looking at Cities fixture list.

Its a pity sergio is better as part of a front 2 than as a lone striker, but I believe City must play 4-5-1 until Mario comes back.

Dzeko just isnt at the races at the moment.

its the sheer lack of effort at times Luka that irritate more than his off field nonsense. You cant have a player no matter how talented when you wonder if hes going to try today or not when he takes the field

Bluff - Perhaps a Balotelli - RVP swap would be an option ???

posted on 24/1/12

Don't want to see RVP at City, as good a striker as he is.

PP I think Torres, Aguero and Silva on the pitch at the same time has the potential to be a pretty formidable front three! I've heard Kia Twatface is Alex's 'advisor' though so I think that could be why we've shown no interest in signing him.

As for trust, I'd rather have Balotelli on the pitch at the moment than Dzeko. Attitudes aside, there's a good chance Balotelli will grab a goal when he/we aren't playing well or against the run of play - like Spurs, Dzeko on the other hand can't be trusted to deliver the goods at the moment.
