I'm sure he does and I'd really question his capabilities as a manager if he doesn't. The obvious lack is so, well, obvious!
It would be great to get another forward before the transfer window closes. It would take the pressure off AC. Bellamy is the only player we have at the moment good enough to be a Liverpool forward and he can't play every game.
I would like to see Texeira (from what you lot have been saying) and Granero come in as I've heard Granero can play wide and also as a support striker.
Maybe put him behind Suarez with Texeira on the bench?
did we already get the other teixeira? the one from Porto?
Talks are ongoing for Joao Texiera and I heard he was at the last reserve match on Saturday, so hopefully that one is a done deal.
Just what we need the next Suarez and the next Deco!
Thaks Aggers. Great news.
I like the sound of a new Suarez and Deco .
We have built a strong foundation IMO and its time to now bring in the flair and skill. We have got the basics right at last. City started off in the same way by getting players like Barry and Milner who were utter tosh at first and struggled to make the top 4 but look at them now.
Let's keep our fingers crossed, I wasted sooo much time trawling around for news.
Could be an exciting buy...bet we end up playing him as a DM though
They have just posted this article and video on the Echo of this years goal. From watching it he appears to be a players that finds a lot of space and ghosts away from markers. In all of the strikes he is barely marked, looks worth the gamble to me.

This Uruguayan chap, Texiera, can he stand up properly? Can he walk along without falling over? Is he marginally faster than a double-decker bus? In reverse? Does he know, roughly what a football is, and you are, within limits, supposed to do with it? If so, he's beginning to edge out AC already!! JimmyTheRed
Joao Teixera is the real deal. I watched the LFC vs Sporting game in the nextgen and he's awesome. He's one of a few very good players that Sporting have. I reckon we could steal a march on Man Yoo who seem to think they have first dibs on emerging Sportling lisbon talent just because they signed Christine.
And Bruno Cheyrou was the next Zidane
their number 10, Tadic, looks useful too.
Obviously youtube can make Bebe look good, but you know what I mean.
