Mate, the penalty decision was a little dodgy. On a slow motion replay you see that it hits his leg first but in real time it looked like a blatant handball. The ref didn't have the benefit of a replay so gave. We got the a bit of luck.
Fair play though for showing some class in defeat. The Chelsea and Arsenal fans could learn something from you.
good game tonight, good luck for the title
As in all sports, you should congratulate your opponents when you've been outplayed so long as they aren't the pond life from Trafford, that's taking it way too far

I agree, I think we got a lucky break with the penalty, although as you say, in real time I thought it was a stone on hand ball so I can see why it was given.
Have to say though, while I thought Bellamy was our man of the match, how good was Joe Hart! He was immense again. Thank 'fffffffk' he is English!!!!
Fair play to you op, showing class
We played some really good stuff and by the end of it Bellamy was finished!!!
Paul did you get parked up alright? How long were you waiting for the accident on M62?
It's been a wild night, voice gone, on way to Bournemouth... Sleep? No chance.

Paulpower did you see one of your lads clambering over some seats to get away from the stewards? He got outnumbered in the end but not was hilarious watching as a steward was at full stretch over some seats trying to catch a hold of him. He wriggled away and got a couple of rows further up until he realised he was heading for a dead end.
In the end he put his arms out to say "what" while three stewards grabbed him and took him away
It was right at the end as the away fans were leaving, dunno what his beef was, was a good atmosphere.
Cracking chant from the city fans "your dads going down, your dads going dow-own, Jamie redknapp your dads going down"

I'm waiting for tonight to watch the highlights. I have to wait a few extra hours for those on the Liverpool website since I'm abroad and I've not read much about the game, only the interviews, so I can watch it afresh
Redinthehead
I was to the right of the goal where the away fans normally go and didn't see anything but your stewards were obnoxious outside pulling people out of the queues for chanting at the passing scousers and it was just a bit of harmless banter, there's no real animosity between city and Liverpool fans is there ?
Bellamy spoilt the Jamie rednapp chant
Every time you guys "score when we want" it invited a goal from us.
Mr Dowd must have taken great exception to it
Paul
Thanks, in all fairness the penalty decision could have gone either way, it's not easy to keep your arms down when trying to block a shot.
We were are usual toothlessselves and it took a lot of efforts on goal to score as Man City were lethal when they went forward.
On balance the right result. Remember what I said about the pressure and expectation? I think that is something Man City are still adjusting to.
I hope your team wins the Premiership this season, so good luck stopping old red nose.

Adam should be banned from the defensive half of the field, that's why I miss Xabi he could put in a tackle as well. Does anyone know what happened in El Classico last night?
2-2 as well.
Real were the better side thouigh.

Morning Fred & Rap.
Jose has his work cut out and El Classico is going to get bigger and bigger. It fascinating watching the tussle between Jose And Pep. I would have watched it but I was blotto by that time!
