Have you see all his loan moves in his senior career?

Yes chicken most of those were when he was 17 or 18 and the more recent ones were because he was bought by an italian team but didnt have an italian passport at the time.

Tomkins,

and the more recent ones were because he was bought by an italian team but didnt have an italian passport at the time

=====================

Still, that is a lot of loan moves. Why didnt he just stay with one loanee club until his passport was sorted out?

That would make much more sense, surely?

Let's hope he is better than Piquionne

Chicken im not really sure what point your making. Does it really matter? You seem very interested.

Time will tell how good he is

Tomkins,

I thought my point was obvious. Why would a player be moved around to so many clubs on loan, if he was doing well at any 1 of them clubs? Wouldn't his parent club be happy for him to stay put if he was progressing, and the player himself want to stay at a place he was doing well?

I can only assume from the amount of loans, that he didnt actually do too well at any club at all.

I thought my point about him not having a passport was obvious aswell? Plenty of youngsters in england are also loaned to many clubs for example, John bostock is about to join his 3rd loan club. Adebayor has been on loan twice in a year.

It doesnt make them bad players.
Im not saying ze eduardo will be any good, but its flattering that your interested

Bostock is a prime example. His attitude stinks, which is why he has not made it at his parent club, and also why none of his loanee clubs are desperate to keep him.

Ade is slightly different. Not many players make it at Real Madrid & Spurs are only his 2nd loanee club, where he is actually performing quite well - and Harry has mentioned a few times he would love for the chairman to sort out a permanent deal.

I'm not having a dig but you have to admit, 10 loanee clubs between 2007 & 2009 is quite alot, and does ring alarm bells.

This from the poster who "assumes" people who live in the home counties get to vote in the elections for the Mayor of London.

I think it’s patently clear what your assumptions are worth.

I'm sorry but you don't even know where you live.

We can only judge him while hes on the pitch and hope he has a good attitude.

Ps it was only 5 loans since 2007

T K o T,

Do you still send a Xmas card to your parents in Romford, addressed to Romford, Essex, even though you think they live in East London?

Why write Essex on the envelope if you know (think) they dont even live there?

You said 10 clubs from 2007 mate. Like i stated. He was a youngster in 2005

Chicken,

I am not aware 2005 comes in between year 2007 and 2009..

Tomkins,

A youngster or not - these are still loan moves though aren't they?

When clubs take players on loan, its done to benefit both clubs. The parent club knows they will get playing time & the loanee club get (what they think) is a better player than what they have got already. Hence Naughton plays for Norwich, Caulker plays for Swansea, Townsend at Leeds etc.

Very rarely would a club take a player on loan, pay his wages, on the knowledge that he is not actually good enough.

Look at Keane & Landon Donavon. Villa & Everton would not have agreed the loan deals if they didnt think they would be benefit to their respective clubs.

You have to admit, its not the best of CV's whatever way you want to look at it.

Fair enough. That was a typo, i should have said 2005 - 2009.

Again, it hardly looks a good signing (on paper) does it?

Oh so he is not any good

Im glad we have a professional scout on these boards.

Thanks for the heads up

I dont claim to be a scout. But i can look at a player's transfer history & make a judgement on whether it looks good or not.

And whatever way you look at it, 10 loan deals over a 4 year period does not make good reading.

It is pointless, the geographically inept user argues for the sake of it.

Like Tomkins I have know idea if this signing will be a good one of not. However we do not claim as facts suppositions and erroneous statements.

It’s a moot point if he truly believes that some areas outside of London get to vote in the Mayoral elections or whether he is continuing to argue for the sake of it. Either way it does make one rather suspicious of his reasoning powers.

====================

So?

Steven Caulker is 20.

Kyle Naughton is 23.

Andros Townsend is 20.

Kyle Walker was just 20 when he played at Villa last season.

And from memory Jermaine Defoe was just 18 when he had a succesful loan deal at Bournemouth.

From the stats provided, it is apparent that Ze Eduardo hasn't had one successful loan spell from 18 to now...
