i think he'll be a very good keeper for us. as he's young, hopefully he'll stick around for long enough, continuously costing united points. this way he'd be doing us a favour week in week out
Okay I'll try to keep it brief... mainly as this obviously won't happen.
Loan De Gea back to Spain.
Make Lindegaard no.1 for the rest of the season.
See how De Gea reacts and (if good) give him another try next season.
Failing that... bring back Bartez.
Id loan De Gea out to the championship instead for half a season.
good potential - but at the moment not even close to being worth his pricetag.
loan him to lower level prem club imo to build up some confidence with less pressure on him.
We are a bit busy here today with all the world class transfers about to arrive but I will give you a brief view......
He's struggling for confidence obviously but the guy does have talent and has very good distribution. He needs to bulk and develop an aura of calm which he'll only get from playing.
It takes time for a young guy to adapt and learn a new language and that's what he should get.
Hmm, not doing well so far I see. Shame. Hoped for better than this...

Would you like us to humour you by telling you how world-class we think he is and all his mistakes mean nothing?
Jeez Eric, you set out some strict 'rules' for responding to an article about ManU's seemingly failing young goalie on the Arsenal board - an ideal oppotunity to post WUMs and you get some good, sensible comments and then complain about them.
Serisouly no pleasing some people.
He wouldn't be at united if he didn't have potential, but he's not really showing it yet and just looks average and lacking confidence.
I wouldn't loan him out though, it's not his talent in question it's getting his confidence up which you can only do at your own club but with less pressure on him than at present. Being dropped for Lindegaard might work out well for him, much like Fabianski I guess (although I don't rate Fab really).
VG, no not that. I was actually going for an elaborate WUM myself! Was very unlikely to work though, I'm not a good WUM at all me. Was crossing my fingers for "He's useless" and "Carp keeper, ship him home" ect. Then I was just going to change the title to Wojciech Szczęsny, have a little lol, and then probably try to engage in some friendly banter. S'only football after all and I am bored out of my mind at work! Having to work through lunch too :/ Nightmare.
Apologise for any upset I may have caused Arsenal fans. Like I say, I'm just a bored United fan at work. Have a good day, Szczęsny's going to be one of the best btw.
I do like David De Gea's "Videogames" song though.
He's still young, should improve with experience, but seems small to me. I don't know how tall he is, but seems to have a very small body frame, which is probably why he doesn't dominate his area.
A helluva lot of money to pay for teenage keeper though dont you agree?
eric, i'd say for that sort of thing you chose the wrong time of day. after 6pm, you'd have probably got the response you wanted - after the kids have got home from school and had their tea
VG, yeah probably, but then the kids wouldn't be able to laugh it off and have some good natured banter afterwards. Plus I'm not keen on being the kind of bloke who targets kids on the Internet on any level, if you know what I mean!
