It's always been the Liverpool way, if a deal is there Kenny is going to go for it.
Like being offered Messi on a free and saying "Sorry guys, I already said no signings".
Mankini also said they wouldn't sign anyone either but I suppose he is a liar and a hypocrite!
He basically said that until we sign somebody he will be saying we aren't signing anybody. Which doesn't mean we won't just that he won't say we are until it's a done deal.
"We don't need to comment. We've said what's going to happen and it's nothing, so that's us.
"We don't need to get involved to justify what people have said. Ask them to justify it, not us.
"I am not talking about any specific incident but if you are going to do business in any way, shape or form in whatever life it's in, you don't disclose it until it's done, do you?

It feels like we're the poor kids at school and that whilst they have Nike and Adidas trainee's, we've got hand me down Dunlops.
Do you know what it feels like? It feels like we're Everton!

Going by the last transfer window of course.

McCarthy says Dalglish contacted him requesting to change the game to the following day due to Liverpool's potential business in the transfer market.
But the Wolves manager refused because he wanted more time to prepare for Saturday's trip to QPR.
He said: "I know Liverpool wanted to play the game on the Wednesday and asked me about it and I said 'no chance'.
"We are going down to QPR on Saturday so why would I play a day later? I want as much time to prepare for both games but I could understand Liverpool's request.
"Kenny just asked me because they might be doing something (in the transfer market) and I understood it - but he understand my reasons for not changing."

Yup, less than five hours to go and nada.
Can't see anything significant happening transfer wise myself.

We need a striker, but we aint gonna get anyone!
Lets hope that Kenny and the board dont have egg on their faces in a month or two?

Too true. At the start of January, with all the strikers linked to us, I went from hope, through disappointment, to downright being dejected the last couple of days.
This could come back to bite Kenny and the board on the butt by the end of March.

We are in total agreement!
When Suarez, Bellamy and Gerrard play together we should be ok! If any of those get injured, we will struggle! Its a bad situation as Craig cant start every game!
