Sad for the Tottenham lads. To be honest I think we deserved to go through on the night, but we didn't score and Tottenham did.
I'm happy for our lads, but feel sorry for their youngsters.
Personally I feel a fairer solution would have been to replay the game, although at Anfield instead of their ground as a penalty for fielding the illegible player.

Youth champion's league.

Liverpool have outlasted both Manc clubs in Europe

Correct, Ajax would be a great honour for the lads as well. They have one of the best Acadamies in the world.

Youth CL, wow, I didn't even know such a thing existed.

Congratulations Scousers, you and Europe seem to have this affinity.

Now then, during his court case, Harry said he knows all about his players, and by "his" I can only assume he means "Tottenham's".

How did this inellgible player wind up on the field, did H know he was allowing a ringer onto the park, or is his courtroom defence nothing more than a sham, a complete pack of Lies, disingenuous to say the least, and he is a liar liar pants on fire <lovingwatchingtheblokemakeatuatofhimselfandalaughingstockoftheclubhemanagessmiley>

Ferdinand and Sherwood are responsible heads should roll.

You read my mind.

Maybe, following the honesty of Spurs, the Liverpool officials should at least make that gesture.

Agreed on that one

One reason for that is, if Liverpool do go on to win it (which as i said earlier, i hope they do), you will always get that one person who will say they didnt deserve it because they lost to Spurs blah blah blah.

At least if they offer to replay it, and we say "no its okay" then at least Liverpool can say we bottled the replay if you get any stick for it.

I was going to say let's hope you're never called on to be a UK ambassador to Uruguay - but there's not much chance of that happening anyway! I'm sure the Uruguyans wouldn't take too kindly to being called a racist nation.

I dont think anyone referred to the whole nation as racist.

I'm clever enough to realise that Saurez is pretty much on his own on this one.

Breaking News: Liverpool want to finish mid-table

"I dont think anyone referred to the whole nation as racist."

That's not how the Uruguay football association see it.

"It is news which has not gone down well in Uruguay. When the verdict was announced and published on the website of El Pais, the country's leading newspaper, the comments section was full of remarks attacking the "hypocrisy" and "pseudo-moralism" of the English."

Then Uruguay should be ashamed of themselves.

"We Uruguayans, and more so in football, use terms that can be wrongly interpreted by people from other places...it's not a reason to call a Uruguayan a racist,"
