My sentiments exactly.

Warnock, Di Matteo or Davies for me (all three have promotion-to-Premier-League experience).

Completely agree Peacock, Id have them in that order aswell!

Why not Jones? his record is brilliant! I would much rather have him than warnock or Clarke - let's face it, it's as good as signed and sealed so let's get behind Dave Jones!

Could not get Cardiff up after all they spend

I don't see it some how.

I don't think the bookies have a clue.

How come this is all signed for?

Is there something I have missed in the news...

How in any way shape or form can anyone prefer Jones over Warnock? And don't give me any of that "I don't like him" wibbly-wobbly.

The longer it takes the more likely it is to be someone in a job.

Because he is young. enthusiastic and has a better win % as a manager than Warnock. Warnock is an embrassment, a disgrace to every club that he darkens with his moaning dirges that rail at everyone except himself. His players celebrated when he left QPR (deep in the mire of course), they said he didn't even bother giving them proper training or tactics. It's about time that he joined the other dinosaurs and became extinct.

Jones, on the other hand, has an exemplary record and has been very harshly treated. I will welcome him whne he signs - I think most bookies have closed their book on it now

1 said that

And he said he was sad to see him go at first then changed it.

And that's at top level do means nothing.

Stop your blobby blobby blobbying talk on here.

Yes, meme is right.

If your argument is strong enough you shouldn't need to twist things.

I love how win percentage has suddenly become the be all and end all.

They can't have disliked him that much - He got them promoted!

bluememe talks sense. Stop it with the blobby-blobby-blobbying talk.

Well Jones is certainly comparatively young next to Warnock. Or is that too blobby-blobby for you? Warnock's record at the top level is atrocious, we need to build for that level - not just think about going up to come down again.
Warnock got QPR promoted by ostentatious spending, his abysmal style of play has sent them spiralling towards the bottom of the EPL. Barton (who I despise, but that's by the by) has slated Warnock, apparently he had no supporters in the dressing room or on the board.
He is a nasty piece of work with no record of success at the top level, he gets his teams to play awful football and his constant moaning is an embarrassment.
But I guess that's all too blobby blobby for young people who want success today and don't care about tomorrow. who's only thought is getting Bates and Grayson out.
When Dave Jones comes in, can you please go away.

And Warnock is comparatively young next to Fergie.

You seem to be getting Warnock confused with Grayson.

posted on 6/2/12

He's 7 years younger?

And jones would spent hell lot more at wolves and cardiff Then Warnock in all his career.

What did he spend at QPR anyway?

I can't think of anyone who cost a fortune.

It's the first time (and probably the last time) I'll say this but stop your blobby blobby blobbying talk on here, you're making everyone wibbley wobbly!

There, I've said it.

Jones was sacked at Cardiff because he couldn't get them over the line and came close 3-seasons on the bounce. he also spent a lot more money than Grayson, but was still sacked as cardiff thought he underachieved. So what chance would he have at leeds working for Bates, with no money and a mostly poor squad. Remember he also dropped Macormack and then sold him because he thought he wasn't good enough for Cardiff. Jones would be a silly move

NO abosolutely NO! Dont want Jones.

NO to Jones, NO to Warnock.

Jones couldn't get Cardiff up with all that money spent and with Bellamy in the team!! Pi55 poor as far i'm concered.

Warnock got QPR up, but they were strong favorites and anything else would have been dreadful.

I think Redfern should stay in charge for the next few games, it's all about confidence with this lot, SG swapped thing round far too much and also alienated players from what i've heard, the squad is there, Delph and Smith will have given us the missing links to strengthen fully for the rest of the season now, we don't need new players, just need to play proper football gel as a team that plays together every week and not drop players everytime they have a bad game.

I think who comes in next needs to be given alot of thought and seems there are plenty of good managers intersested, i just don't think Warnock and his old fashioned ways is the way forward for us and totally agree with previous posts about his inability to manage at the top level, which is where we aspire to be right?

Onwards and upwards.
