Might wake him up a bit. Saha looked lively

He needs a wake up call. Sick of his clumsy control and loss of possession.

in a team of technically accomplished footballers his sloppy control is exposed time and time again

i have been patient with him but he needs some bench time

Bench time on £80 grand a week, send him back to City,

Unfit for purpose.

Saha and Defoe up top, no worries.

I cannot believe you lot are digging Adebeyor out. He was valiantly trying to hold up the forward line on his own all night. Once he went off, Spurs hardly mounted an attack.

He was absolute rubbish, shocking performance.

Unfortunately he didn't join us to be anything other than certain starter, and I'm pretty certain Harry will still see him as that. If he is dropped he'll just cause problems behind the scenes.

Not sure what's up with his head, but he always starts strongly at a side before a rapid descent into poorness.

Imagine Luka and Scotty looking at his recent performances and thinking 'he earns in a week what we get in a month'

Let's hope he comes good sooner rather than later and we can get rid in the summer without too much damage having been done.

He was valiantly trying time after time to get his first touch right, or win just one header. I've lost patience with him too. Daniel - get us WORLD CLASS STRIKER.

Once he went off you had settled for a point,Ade up front, he was not even nuisance value.

you were watching a different game to me then.

he had PLENTY of good quality ball into him during the time he was on and his ball retention was shocking.

granted he didnt have much support at times but thats why its imperative he holds it up so that we can get up the pitch and give him the support !

sorry he was doing my head in

what about last week v wigan? he was poor again.. no hold up play and that was in a game we were on top all game.

what about away at watford? we literaly might as well have played with ten

To be fair though he did put the work in - his first touch under any sort of pressure was just diabolical.

You guys are so fickle. Ade was very isolated today and there was very little he could do.

He's by far our best striker and as soon as he gets a goal, they'll start flowing again.

Tonight was a very good result, let's look at the positives eh?

disagree with most of that.

as i said earlier.. ade had plenty of good quality ball played into him today.

Least when Saha came on he stayed up top unlike Adebayor.

Saha needs to be tried with every one, if we can keep him fit he could become a quality striker as he has that killer instinct in him. He would of put away them one on one chances Adebayor missed

He was played up front on his own when he first started at Spurs and did well and showed a lot more energy then, so I don't think you can use the idea of him being isolated as much of an excuse.

He's been poor for a while now and clumsy in possession. His first touch really is poor most of the time. Seriously it's been like having Crouch back the last month or so.

I'm sorry to say that we are in danger of falling into the Jenas defence here if we're not careful. For ages I fell into the trap of believing that JJ brought alot to the team then one day I woke up and realised that actually he was just rubbish!

Sadly I'm coming to the same conclusion with Ade.

It was not a good nite to be playing footy, out there in the English winter cr%&*%$p.
There was hardly a good performance by anybody anywhere on both sides of the pitch. Bale was crp, Gerrard was rather worse, suarez well ... you know that, Andy the Carrot was ridiculous, Walker not good, Bale was out of it entirely, BAE tried hard, only Scotty Parker and Ledley King played well, and of course Big Brad.
A match to forget, entirely.
I dont blame the players,...... I blame the English climate.

I was one of the few not excited when we signed Adebayor and argued with Don a fair bit about it.

Dreadful first touch and it always has been, despite what fans say he DOES NOT hold the ball up he gives it away 9 times out of 10. Yes he is better than Crouch but he really is not the quality of striker we need if we are ever going to mount a serious title challenge.

To be fair his work rate is normally pretty good mind.
