FA is a joke.

isn't his brother an active member of BNP?
.................................
That shouldn't matter, no one should be held accountable for their families actions.
yet JT is accountable for an alleged complaint made by Johnny who?
BNP? Bendtner is a member of the BNP?
Bendtner is and Stuart Peace are brothers? crazy
Stuart Pearce seems to have managed the error of his ways.
Good guy.
feck, but I am pleased that Capello is coing our way, the man is a genius at club level.
isn't his brother an active member of BNP?
-----------------------------------------
he released a statement about that a long time ago, along the lines of "my brother's views are his own and in no way represent my own"
you can't castigate someone for the actions of their idiot family members.
If relations are going to be the yardstick on which players/coaches are judged then John Terry (amongst others) never should have played for England.
Yet the behaviour of John Terry's relatives are trhown in his face week in week out and used by many as legitimate validation of guilt to any accusations thrown at him.
The issue here is not JT or Stuart Pearce or Cappello, it is our press and ourselves.
The press for sensationalising everything and ourselves for jumping on the band wagon and creating knee jerk reactions.
I am sure Des Walker could expose a few things about Pearce. And he was his team-mate. Football has a past full of cover ups. I think everyone should be allowed to grow and change. And there is less of an issue because psycho confronted his ignorance and seen the error of his ways. Pearce has never been a good enough manager anyway. Thats why it was so ironic that they chose him as U21 boss.
Thats why the whole issue with Terry could have been easily resolved if had apologised at the time. A genuine apology instead of some convoluted denial.
Jenius 99, do you forget that Terry and Anton met post game and discussions took place. Anton hasn't brought this thing to court, nor has he made any attempt to take it further, the FA did on the back of the complaint someone in the crowd made and the police did once that person decided to take it further. Without the web frenzy and exposure it was given by the media he may not have and they would have been able to resolve it amongst themselves.
do you forget that Terry and Anton met post game and discussions took place.
-------------------------
I disagree that Terry showed any contrition. Thats the difference in my opinion between Pearce and Terry.
Otherwise we wouldn't have had the refusal to shake hands. Ferdinand is obviously furious at Terry's behaviour. Anton hasn't said anything but his brother has let the world know in no uncertain terms how Anton feels.
Obviously Anton couldn't bring a complaint because he has already admitted he didn't initially hear anything. But that doesn't excuse how Terry has dealt with it after the incident took place.

-----------------------------------------------------
You can disagree all you like but it was reported. The handshake thing is something that has come about after 3 months of the media stirring things up so that everyone has an opinion inspite of knowing or recalling waht actually transpired.
Anton and Terry met discussed and went their seperate ways happy after the game, only since then since being told he should be indignant etc has this got to where it is.
@JFDI
I find it strange that the police acted on the JT incident after 1 complain yet they do nothing when the fans hurl vile about at the players including racial slurs.
Im not JT biggest fan but if i was him i would stick 2 fingers at the FA and retire from international football.
Anton and Terry met discussed and went their seperate ways happy after the game
---------------------------
I assume in your opinion? Are you Terry or Ferdinand? Anton Ferdinand doesn't look happy and his brother has let the world know he isn't happy. To suggest this is some sort of media conspiracy seems far from the truth. It needs one word from Ferdinand to defuse the whole matter. But obviously Anton is willing to take threats, both verbal and physical.
Ferdinand has never suggested that the issue should be dropped. I can accept an attempt at mediation by the clubs or FA took place. An apology wasn't reported. There is a difference between contrition, an admittance of a mistake and belligerence. This is what I believe has escalated the situation and difference between Pearce and Terry situations.
@Bo$$
doing that it doesn't help his innocence
@ Rosie47
Im pretty sure the whole world already thinks he is guilty so its not exactly gonna hurt him. (apart from chelsea fans)
@Bo$$
why would any player (esp. english) would feel sorry for the mistake that he hasn't done and give up a chance to lead the team at a major tournament?
Jenius, it is what I read, I am not Terry nor Ferdinand and neither are you. I have heard many comments about how Anton feels whilst Anton himself says he will not comment.
I do not feel it is a conspiracy, I have never used the word nor do I believe in them. It is an agenda and this mornings headlines reienforce my opinion that the papers have an agenda.
Why drag up this story 19 years after the event. By ignoring their actions and making excuses as to why this is different you are missing the point.
You are making this about Terry not me, I would be making this claim regardless.
This is Terry's statement on the matter for your benefit, Anton admitted that this occured, it is only since then that any animosity real or percieved has occured.
