Mitchell Starc will become really good I think. Certainly can swing a ball!

Agree with Finn........Yadav from india has shown potential. Can see him doing well and becoming indias leading attack bowler for years to come - fitness permitting!!!

Chandimal impresses me alot and not many young sub cont batsman can say that they have made good runs in England (one dayers), South Africa (test and one dayers) and now Austrailia (one dayers). He's already gone up the Sri Lankan pecking order ahead of the classy Mahela J.

In terms of bowling it's hard to look beyond Finn and I know the Aussies have some good prospects but they have only played home and South Africa in seamer friendly conditions so time will tell. Yadhav has not been too bad too.

I can't really see past Kohli. He is an arm and a leg above Chandimal and Rohit Sharma. He's performed down under, at home and in South Africa and bearing in mind he's only 23. He has already scored more centuries than Tendulkar had at the same stage in the career and I think he has a lot of potential to continue. Definitely seems to thrive under pressure.

seeing the increase in new bowling talent over the last year and the relatively low increase in talented batsmen, I have the feeling bowlers might dominate test cricket very soon.
If you look at the top teams their batting is full of familiar names many of whom are surely close to retirement.
SA: Smith and Kallis
OZ: Ponting, Mike Hussey, Haddin
India: Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar?
Eng: Strauss, Pietersen?
Probably more you could name and yet how many talented batsmen are waiting in the wings.

It has to be Samit Patel.

Amir, I've always pictured you as a 'fatty' so it's the pot calling the kettle.

I also can't see past Finn. I've not really seen much of the other young players, so I can't make comment.
