Mostyn me old china, long time no post. Are you sure you don't want to have a rant about Nigel Clough? Just like I do GSE.

Regarding Attwell, he can go to that Mickey Mouse SPL league for me, never a referee in a million month of Sunday's, I bet he still hasn't been to spec savers!!

Wassa, not really! I'm bored of being annoyed about the same thing for three years! Negative and regressive football! I now fear Southampton, Leicester and then later Forest will destroy us cos we dont play to win!

Anyways... I'm seething at GSE too! How dare they send me a renewal form, with earlybird price! I havent even got a season ticket!

I'm dreading Atwell reffing Derby games!

Mostyn, what are you saying mate??? Those red dogs down the road have got no chance of beating us, they are in disarray, most of the fans are against the manager, and they should be going into administration!! so no they wont beat us but the other 2 may! The only reason they may beat us is, Southampton have strikers, exactly the same as Leicester. Over the passed how many years, Leicester have got one over us, they are our bogey side I'd say.

Mostyn We all know Nigel Clough is going no where cause he's a yes man. No matter how many fans come out and say they want him out, yes some of his tactics are negative, but, here's the question, can you see GSE giving Nigel any money next season for these 3 experienced players he has been wanting? straight forward question, simples.

We don't play to score, so I can't see how we will do you any harm.

Imagine if he is picked for March 13th lol

Well done Ilkeston, now it's BOUND to happen.

At least if he is picked it will add a touch more randomness to the result and something to talk about for the next three years.

I agree with Mostyn on this one. Derby do not play to win at all.
Consolidation off the pitch is mirrored on the pitch.
We've had our best chance of royally beating Forest and it got scuppered by the weather. The prospect of playing away at Southampton is almost frightening, such is the contrast in syles of play.

Can't agree that Derby don't play to win. We just don't have sufficient talent in midfield and attack to be able to score goals on a regular basis. Fortunately we have one of the best defences in this division so 1 goal wins have been possible. As every man and his dog knows we need a player capable of scoring on a regular basis and a midfielder capable of getting the ball to them.

Spartacus
Such a shame all this falls on deaf ears.
Even though its been stated for a good season and half
Since hulse went, even then he didn't set the league on fire.

As painful as it is to say but Derby have to play to keep it tight and hopefully nick one away from home and even at home to the better sides until they buy some creative talent and a proven goal scorer

Expect some quality attacking play in 2017 or thereabouts

Owd Direby blaming the ref for their own failings just like Juventus or a curse

Completely inconsistent and illogical decision.

We all know he made many howlers far worse than the ones cited in this article in the season leading up to his appointment to the "Elite List" so if they didn't matter then, why do lesser mistakes matter now?

excellent,

the only way we're going to win a game is through an inexplicable refereeing decision in our favour, atwell could be our saviour

The thing is, he was so bigged up and let his own ego run away with him; sort of like certain young footballers, only without the the backing o0

to his credit, in that derby/forest game atwell did make a very boring game very exiting in the end.

forest had a goal disallowed on a breakaway for no obvious reason, he disallows a perfectly good derby goal to give them a penalty that was never a penalty and there was nowt wrong with addisons late 'winner' either

if mcgugan got a straight red i can't remember it but if it was a second yellow it was fair enough so i don't know why that decision is mentioned.

Moon on a stick, Ray? Dead right.

As opposed to Forest fans who would be satisfied with a balloon on a stick if they could ever afford one?
