Are they actually the real shirts, or are United unveiling a new line of pyjamas?

PS: I think our home kits are lovely

Remember Sour Alex making that classic excuse why his team got humped by Southampton was because the players could see each other because of their strip.

There's no danger of that being used again, with those hideous pajama tops.

You liked that Daily Mirror article (sic) did you?

Trust you read this one from that august organ, too:

I only saw the link to the new Utd shirts because it was on the BBC site. I liken the Mirror's journalism standards to that of the other vile red top and never touch either. Post whatever link you want from that paper, I won’t read it because it will be factually inaccurate and just a piece of shoddy sensationalist claptrap.

Hippo

Really? As a Utd fan do you not think that is a bit rich?

The kit is indeed a nit ugly. The YouTube video that showed that kit with Arsenal and Barcas had the Utd kit with red socks which made it look a bit Nottibgham Forrest.

The arsenal shirts are also pretty minging. The red black and white sleves with black socks are just terrible.

Bloody awful kit. How do designs like that get approved?

posted on 19/2/12

But a new kit every year for the last five years? I wonder why... Glazer needing fresh stock for his shopping malls?

At least we stick to the charter of one new home strip every two years.

Just goes to show how hard up man u are..

Well change of sponsors must be considered. But I agree that it is too many. Should be a minimum of 2 years per kit. Sponsorship deals should be agreed in 2 year increments too.

I think its a disgrace. By using this design, they're actually forcing United fans to buy two shirts - one to wear for the game and one to lay on their laps to eat their prawn sandwiches off!
