Daniel Sturridge to Arsenal?

Just don't see it.
He is a very good player, but not the one we are looking for at the moment. I personally think we are lacking a creative player capable of 'the X factor'. I would go for Eden Hazard, but that does depend on how much the board will actually give to Arsene.

Well from what I understand Chamakh/Park will move on and RVP could move on if he doesnt sign a new contract.

We could see 2 or 3 strikers coming in

That's true, but I still think Walcott can become a decent player for us. He is the sort of player that can be lethal is given top quality service, and if we get that player ie Hazard/ Gotze, we could start to see the best of him. Possibley better than what Sturridge could do for us.
It looks quite likely that RVP will stay

The problem with Theo Walcott is that he wants to play up front. will be interesting to see if Wenger plays him up front for a bit before the season ends

Have you heard anything more on suarez, it looks like he will be a target for us in the summer. Definitely a good player who we could do with. Sturridge I really like, he has plenty of potential and would welcome him to arsenal with open arms

I think walcott would be best up front, he can have some good times one the wings when he's confident but that is rare

it's kind of like how vermaelen can do a job on the left but when it comes down to it it's best that he doesn't (he struggles so much with pacey players)

Sturride wants to play up front as well though so unless we go 4-4-2 or RVP leaves he'll be on the wing.

Matias Suarez according to an argie journalist is done. He looks a real talent technically superb could see him adapting to English football but it would be a gamble.

Olivier Giroud is another striker I really like. Complete striker fast, great in the air, great 1st touch etc

Would love it if we got Suarez, but just don't it will actually happen

As long as Sturridge is under contract with Chelsea I dont believe that Chelsea would let him go for a competitor in the league.

Also I believe that Sturridge did well for Chelsea and they cant afford to lose him.

Arsenal need to rebuild their first team and squad. How much money is available for such a project is debatable.

Walcott is a luxury player who is inconsistent and bluntly rather fragile. I doubt that he would be a regular
first choice player at most of the top teams in Europe.
He would be considered a fringe squad player.

I see Oxlade-Chamberlain as a better prospect, because he is physically stronger and frankly a better
footballer.

Walcott will be vying in the future for a place on the flanks with Gervinho and possibly Miyaichi.

What we need at the moment is a second striker to
complement Van Persie and who can score consistently at least 15 goals a season.

In that department Sturridge would be rated the better
option. Whether he is good enough is open to question.

Please no. Incredibly selfish and has a lack of brains and technique. Overrated.

Feeling exactly the same about the selfishness. He is no doubt more talented than Walcott but too selfish and not a team player.
He always go for the shoot when better option are available.

Theo will come good. Wengers worked too hard to get rid that easily. I'm 90% sure he'll sign up.

Sturridge is good but the reason he wants to leave Chelsea is because he wants to play in the centre. I can't see him doing that with us.

They are too many strikers out there and better than sturridge.
I really don't want him in an Arsenal shirt. And anyway, we have pre-signed Suarez , he'll do the job! (just hoping that one of the condition of the pre-contract is not a CL spot )

Why would Sturridge want to move from one team in crisis to another team in crisis?

Some reporter has an overactive imagination. There is no swap.
