why are we kicking off at half one on sunday when it isn't on sky?
.................
Probably because it is on ESPN.
it isn't on espn either...
I was wondering that myself. Games that aren't televised on a Sunday usually kick-off at 2-3pm.
Gives us a couple of hours to get ready to laugh at the Scousers
Seriously though, these early kick offs do my head in

Maybe not in the UK. It will be on one of the sports chanells in the USA, that is for sure. I will look it up.
i'm glad i'm not going. imagine how early you'd have to leave to get there for that time...and on a sunday as well.
I'd imagine travelling will be a nightmare for Sunday's game.

In the US it is on live on Fox Soccer Plus. This means it most likey comes under Sky.
but aren't all premier league games shown on there? even the saturday 3pm kick off's? why would that make a difference in this case?

There is the answer.

As SAF said last year, the prem has a fantastic monetry deal with Sky.
Sometimmes you just have to dance with the devil.
not one remaining away game this season is on a sat, dont think any homes are either?
Is it not because we are in the Euroball League now, so we have to play on Sunday as opposed to Saturday, and the PL already planned who was playing on TV?
Or was the game always scheduled for Sunday?
If we don't lose to Ajax tomorrow, there won't be no more Saturday games anymore for United for the rest of the season.
oh well,we can watch the NLD and watch our game via a link on here
Went to watch us beat Norwich 1-0 at Carrow Road in the eighties.
The stupid Norwich fans kept throwing coins at us. I picked up enough for a couple of pints afetr the game.
Utter dumbasses.

SAF has to take credit, they were his words.
Sadly the Sundays suit me better now for football. Family life dictates we spend all Saturday together either visiting other family or some other trivial activity meaning I miss the lunchtime/afternoon kickoffs...
The way sky etc have been given free rein to fa n ny about with our fixture dates and kick off times it's surely only a matter of time before the matches are halted for an advert or sponsorship message - and don't say it could never happen - we all know better don't we ?
Live on Foxtel down here in Sydney and Murdoch owns Foxtel too
I don't get this hang-up about games not kicking of at 3pm on a Saturday, it's been like this for 20 years, get over it!!!
