when do you ever sell out, without doing some sort of "deal on wheels"?
I heard that Uniteds crowd was the biggest so far in the competition, & that could be a "fact"
"the fact is if we'd played Ajax on a thursday night it would have been a sell-out" you cant even sell out for tonights game!!!!!!!!!!!
MancWooHoo
as for the away crowd making more noise that is generallly the norm now, didn't you lot pinch your famous "poznan" off the poles after they came to your place & never shut up for 90 min?

Did you have a little giggle as you typed that?
ONH, a couple of points for your consideration:-
1) We aren't playing tonight so there's a fair chance they may be some empty seats.
2) We have sold out every leage game this season, including todays.
3) Porto sold about 1,000 seats tops, if we'd played Ajax they would have sold the full 4,000 they would have been allocated plus if we'd played in the evening we would have definately sold all our tickets.
Hope that helps.
We have had empty seat they can't handle the fact they have so they attack us!
Hypocrites.
Boris
thought city were playing at teatime?
MancWooHoo
no, thats football these days, if you ever bother going away you'll find out that the away support tends to make more of an effort.
Cityblueloz
City having their best season for over forty years & yet you still struggle to shift your tickets, even at half price, why?
Struggle Every time I go on the M(U)EN website I'm bombarded with ads for United matches, it seems that Eamonn Holmes is the only person in Europe who "can't get a ticket".

I'm having a little guffaw as I read this, coming from an armchair observer.
Teatime is 6 o'clock in our house, anything before is still afternoon.
only in your dreams could city get 70,000 plus every home league game.
But you'll never admit so I'll leave it at that.
You could only dream of that 20 years ago, amazing what a run of success does for you. I wonder how many of those 29,000 brave souls who turned out for the Wimbledon game still go.

if you've been to as many away games at home & abroad as I have then fair play to you.
But seen as its much much easier to pick up away tickets for city fans then you lot should all be super dooper city fans, United aways all go to ballot, every game.
Every City away game ticket is decided by loyalty points, despite having about 5,000 I 've got no chance for most games.
Onh, if you lot have empty seats for games then why mock us?
inky
dont go there mate because Citys crowds in the 80s & early 90s were scandalous.

Is that so? So how come we broke record attendances in the old division 2 when we got relegated in the mid 70's? We've always had a large following, we even filled out Maine Road when we played there after the 2nd world war more than you did. Ripleys even admitted during Liverpool's domination we was recognised around the world a lot and we had an extremely larger following than City.

your lying, I know for a fact Everton away (just round the corner if you dont no) were on open sale.

I dont "mock", 67,000 for a live free TV game is outstanding dont you think?
Why must you get all rude Boris?
Not really considering you're supposed to have 7 Trillion 'fans' worldwide.
Arab, because I'm getting fired up for a feast of free flowing football and I'll be going out in 20 minutes.
Let's rock.
Good, I always like a bottle of cherry coke to consume through the day.
