I agree with you, I think Curbishley would be good for us. he has already managed two of the clubs that he played for, so why not try a third.
My concern is how much would it cost us to sack Eck?
I will never get over the fact that we paid Blues 2mm compensation - they must have been in hysterics after that was signed, no-one will ever try and pinch Eck from us.

The problem is Randy seems happy with his choice. He is hardly seen at the villa these days and doesn't hear all the stick McJudas is getting.
I think Curbs would jump at the chance to manage the villa but only if he were given funds to spend which at the moment don't seem forth coming from the owner.
I think you are stuck with McJudas for at least another season. He won't take you down this year, there are three worst teams than yourselves and until the season tickets fall dramatically again next year Randy won't sack him.
I'm sorry bcfc i dont know how you gain your information but it's not by going to see the team at football grounds i'e not on telly but at the present moment and forget about stats...there is no team worse to watch than the teams that ginger jock turns out week after week....sorry mate but on this point i totally disagree with you.
Footballing wise I see where you are coming from but in terms of who will go down there are three worst teams than the villa.
Wolves are shocking and can't defend as are Wigan. People go on about Wigan playing decent football but if yu watch them they don't play great football and give the ball away a lot.
Blackburn just like to play it long and get men around the Yak.
QPR dispite spending all this money and getting rid of Warnock they are still struggling to win games and for me look doomed.
Don't get me wrong I would love to see the villa go down but it is not going to happen this year. Give McJudas two seasons at the helm and you could well go!
indeed, i think that Curbishly could be as successful as Little was for us. They seem similar characters to me.
