So then guys n gals who has renewed their season ticket?
Me I have not nor will not until I see some ambition in the club in signing proven quality players. I would sooner pay the extra late bird next season than be taken for a sucker again.

Sorry to buck the trend but having renewed my tickets I find that I actually pay less. How come I hear you say, well here goes:
6 season tickets (Various age groups) £1,400.00
6 Vouchers Valued at £300 (Spent in the shop)
6 New Shirts valued at £210
Outlay for tickets - Goodies = £890.00
Equates to £148.33 per ticket
Divide by 23 Games = £6.45 Per person per game
Now thats what I call a bargain.
I understand your frustrations which I do share, however, once its in the blood I cannot resist the urge to keep going week in and out with my eternal optimism that 'it will get better'. It also gives me some great 'family time', meet up with some old mates, savour the (occasional) atmosphere and escape the reality of the real world for short period of time.

They can stick their soon-to-be-replaced shirt and discontinued adidas gear up their Chopper Harris
Ramsfansid fully understand but, soon to be out of date replica shirt able training ghia from club shop is not that appealing to me. My ticket this year is £440. That's £20 a game minimum. Let's say if I did this 17 games at £10 Derby ladies football team groupon combination and 3 at full price at £30 ago that would save me £180. Granted that would not give me my own seat but that's £180 in my own pocket.
Tell you what next season Glick and co will be selling next season tickets for Christmas at the end ofthis year.
I've renewed foe exactly the same reason as RamsFanSid.
Happy shopping guys. I hear Westfield gets quite busy on matchdays. Even busier next season by the sounds of it.
I get home and away games on Player for less than 40 quid on the internet, but what kind of team are we going to have next season if GSE remain in charge. On top of that I dont have to buy a pint, a hotdog or travelling expenses.....we can all listen to games on the radio and support Derby County that way and get GSE OUT!
I feel a bit sad about it but im feeling the same WSR. Im fortunate to be able to hold back on buying a season ticket. I dont mind paying extra if we show more ambition than just to tred water. I feel flat at the minute as all i hear about is the future..what about today?
Look at Birmingham City. I'm going tomorrow and I've been told I can 'pay on the gate'.. I don't think I've heard of that kind of arrangement from a home Club for a league match in over 10 years.
By the way, Blues are in the play off spots, have a ground that has a 30k capacity, have had a better season than they could have imagined, have one of the best managers in the business, massively in debt, have a chairman who is virtually incarcirated and have a highest crowd this season of 21k
Despite our dismal season, yet again, I'd rather be a Derby fan than a Blues fan.
I see Brum rushed to buy 3 players before the transfer embargo started
I haven't yet, but no- doubt will (x2) before April increase.
STH for 30 + years but massively dissillusioned with everything DCFC. My summary would be that i feel everyone involved with running the club (board/management) are totally out of their depth.
As has been said though - it's in the blood and I hate shopping!

Passing a milestone in anno domini this year a season ticket for me is unbelievably cheap. I have no problem wearing last years Derby shirt and the goody bag makes it even better value.
We as a club seem to be one of the few playing by the rules financially. As has been mentioned Brum signed players in full knowledge that an embargo would be due. Cardiff have just signed Lawrence despite announcing a £12M loss last year. Lawrence was signed on £30,000 a week by Pompey even when they were in administration! Our close neighbours have spent or are spending millions they don't have. It does not pay to be honest in football.
I haven't for me and the missus. To tell the truth I just couldn't be bothered to take them up on their February offer - it's still likely that I will buy then before the earlybird deadline but I've shelled out a lot of cash recently for stuff I was genuinely looking forward to such as Download.
Last night we had our annual family headbanging get-together and we went to see Rammstein in Nottingham. That cost me £220 (it's always my treat to my kids, just to reinforce their Metal roots, and this year there was one extra - my daughter's partner was attending his first-ever Metal gig) - money I did not regret paying one penny of.
I just might take out membership for Derbyshire this summer too. At least I won't be so emotionally attached and it won't break my heart if they are rubbish every week.
At least Derbyshire seem to be trying to make a fist of it this season.
It might be worth a punt again
Just had DCFC ring me up to ask me whether I was buying season tickets again.
Yep, as I 've already said 13YO and I renewed - also had the extra pain of 13YO moving into the higher age price range which more than doubled her ticket.
Why? Maybe I'm a bit naive, maybe I have other things which are more important - all I know is that I am able to justify buying STs and attending Pride Park in my tiny, naive mind. THATS all that matters I suppose.
I support Derby County, my birthplace (Well, Spondon was where I was born), place of my education, formative years and where I have chosen to settle and raise my children.
I do not support Tom Glick, Nigel Clough or GSE, I support DCFC, I give qualified support or criticism to the aforementioned three entities as and when it is required.
Those entiities could and frequently are a source of irritation, bemusement and bafflement but not to buy a season ticket 'because' of them .......
Naw....don't think so.
Plus 13YO would be very upset if I did not.
Me and my two brothers have renewed, not quite sure why as money is tight for me at the mo.I suppose its for the usual reasons, lads day out, eternal optomism, its in the blood ect. Also i still don't handle defeat very well even after all these years so weekend can be painful.

I have renewed because I'm a Derby fan, that's that. I don't expect a dramatic turnaround, though I'm ever hopeful. It's a part of my life, like feeding and clothing the kids, that isn't about "value for money" but that is a part of what I am.
I don't claim moral superiority, and by any rational yardstick it is neither big nor clever, nor is it a sensible use of disposable income, but there it is.
For me it's a matter of priorities. Been a season ticket holder for years and will always go but I'm afraid I've just lost the enthusiasm to carry on.
Before I get the 'derby till I die' brigade shouting at me, it's all down to priorities. I got 3 young kids to support now and when I'm watching crap week in week out its a head pill to swallow with a price increase this season.
I'm going to pick my games for the first time in 20 years. I'm not alone though , it seems like a lot are staying away at the minute.
Tough times tough choices !
I haven't yet - who really needs a soon to be discontinued shirt?
But - reluctantly - I reckon I will before the April deadline.
This has everything to do with the 2012/13 season being the last before MelbourneRamv2 goes away to uni (exam results permitting), and nothing at all to do with the quality of entertainment on offer, which, with the exception of the handful of games that Kuqi played in have been unremittingly dreary for the last 5 years.
Mr Glick - essentially I'm paying you £600+ quid for the environment to do a bit of father/son bonding. This is your last chance to give me a different reason to attend Pride Park. Otherwise I'll be off. Once I've stopped I honestly can't see me starting again.
I've renewed...£325 for me and my lad is great value...
It'll be my last year paying full price, but I can't afford it at the moment. Just waiting for my bonus from work (no, I'm not a banker, but a few on here reckon that I rhyme with it)
