Me too LIW. It is refreshing to have this approach. I can see Rossco, Clayton and Snoddy signing new deals. Aidy is a 50/50 although I believe he sees Warnock's point that he has a lot to learn about the game still. He'd be best to stick around but they all deserve the going rate. Will Bates back Neil?

I always said he had a bigger pot than most, and more than people realised. I think with the size of the club and turnover, more money could have been provided, thats what i always said.

other thing is with the Hotels etc on the balance sheet as assets, this will mean we can borrow for player investment agianst a very stonge balance sheet... though I doubt Bates would want to play this card

Grayson signed too many squad players and not enough quality promotion standard players, Warnocks gonna get rid of 10 wasters replacing them with 4/5 quality players to go for promotion. I liked Grayson but he did sign a lot of rubbish.

White will go in the summer I don't think Grayson thought highly enough of him hence why he offered him a poor deal, he deserves a decent contract and will be 1 of our more important players next year (if he stays)

a very simplistic view on this would be:

200 rooms charged at £50.00 = 10,000.00 = get that every night, during the closed season and thats a big income

we just need Cozer to come on now and kick off about hotels

if you sold 100 rooms every day for a week at £70 is only 50K before VAT, staff costs, council tax, staff cost, finance cost etc etc.

And too sell 100 at £70 would be no mean feat.

Not that much margin for profit in hotels unless youve a mass chain
