Update on a new Mass Effect for anyone that doesn't know.
Future of the franchise
On November 12, 2012, BioWare announced that they are working on a new Mass Effect project and that it would use the Frostbite 3 engine, much like Dragon Age: Inquisition.[36] The game will be produced in Montréal.
According to BioWare community manager Chris Priestly, BioWare does not want people to refer to the next game as Mass Effect 4.
“ To call the next game 'Mass Effect 4' or 'ME4' is doing it a disservice and seems to cause a lot of confusion here. We have already said that the Commander Shepard trilogy is over and that the next game will not feature him/her. That is the only detail you have on the game. I see people saying 'well, they’ll have to pick a canon ending.' No, because the game does not have to come after. Or before. Or off to the side. Or with characters you know. Or yaddayaddayadda. Wherever, whenever, whoever, etc will all be revealed years down the road when we actually start talking about it. I do not call the game ME4 when I talk about it ever, [because] that makes people think of it more as 'what happens after 'Mass Effect 3' rather than 'what game happens next set in the 'Mass Effect' Universe. Obviously fans are going to speculate content, character and story until we actually reveal details in the years or months to come as you have almost no actual details, just don’t get bogged down in 'well how are they going to continue ME3.' ”
—Chris Priestly
This statement was followed up by BioWare Edmonton chief Yanick Roy.
“ What Chris is saying is that thinking of the next 'Mass Effect' game as 'Mass Effect 4' would imply a certain linearity, a straight evolution of the gameplay and story of the first three games. Story-wise, the arc of the first trilogy has also been concluded, and what we will do is tell a new story set in the 'Mass Effect' universe. That doesn’t mean that events of the first three games and the choices you made won’t get recognized, but they likely won’t be what this new story will focus on. I apologize for being cryptic right now, but it’s early enough in development that we don’t have much to share – things still fluctuate quite a bit. ”

In March 2013, BioWare Montreal executive producer Casey Hudson revealed at PAX East that BioWare was beginning work on the next installment in the franchise.
“ We are starting to get ready to develop another Mass Effect game, and it's going to be a new thing. We want to be able to give fans an opportunity to get back into the world with these things you've come to know and love about the Mass Effect experience, but start something fresh and new; a new way for you to explore the whole universe in Mass Effect.
Also the prequel to Metal Gear Solid - The Phantom Pain, comes out in March (Metal Gear Solid - Ground Zeroes). Only £28 as well.

New Mass Effect game
Metal Gear Solid
Steve
It's just a shame that (apart from MGS in March) that a lot of the PS4 titles I'm looking forward to still don't have a solid release date.
Steve any idea why it's £28 or is that likely to change closer to release?
JNR - It's £30 now. The one coming out in March is only a prequel to Metal Gear Solid - The Phantom Pain, which hasn't got a release date yet.
The game is that big that they wanted it spread out over 2 in order for the story to play out better. I would also suspect that bringing out a prequel means that the Phantom Pain is still some way from being finished.
Also I don't expect the price will jump up. More often than not a PS4 game (any console) the price will start at £35/£45 (for PS4/Xbox One) and will go lower upon/after release. It rarely starts at the lower end and goes up.
Anyone every play FTL? Overhead view old-school looking space sim
