Kenny In/Out?

There seems to be a growing feeling today that as Liverpool fans we fall into 1 of 2 categories. You are either

A) Kenny out: The team isn't good enough, signings are a waste of money, Kenny has lost the plot. If you don't agree you're a fool with nostalgia blinding your ability to see this through misty eyes!

B) Kenny In: The team has it's problems but generally they've been unlucky, the players are excellent, just need time to settle. If you don't agree go and support a plastic club like Chelsea, we don't want your kind, you bring bad karma!

The reason I mention this is two-fold. Firstly, both view points are absurd. Wanting to give a manager time isn't nostalgia, and he may be able to build a good team with a bit more time. However it is even more ridiculous to question someone's loyalty due to not being happy with the manager or querying players quality. Yes, support the team at the game but we aren't mindless drones built to tow the party line, we disagree and to suggest you should support another team is stupidity of the highest order.

Now, where do I stand, am I an A or a B? Shockingly I'm somewhere in the middle edging slightly towards A, like most people "dissenting". I'm not happy with this season and I feel it is totally reasonable to feel that way.

The signings haven't been a success. Henderson may be for the future but why is he getting so much game time? He is getting far too much exposure and he doesn't look as though he has the experience to handle the concerted pressure of playing each week.

Downing should be reaching his peak but is infuriating to watch as he is so inconsistent. He is currently playing quite well but needs to maintain this standard. Adam is woefully average. His form as been poor since the Lucas injury and I can't see how such a limited player warrants a place in the team.

I find myself questioning tactical decisions. In the past 10 games (inc. cups) Caroll has started 6 (won 5, drawn 1), we have lost the other 4. I know this is skewed and a short period of time, but illustrates the point that he has started to play better, so why is he being dropped? Suarez up top alone is too isolated and his final ball/shot usually comes to nothing, he needs support.

That being said, we have been somewhat unlucky. Losing Lucas was probably the worst thing that could of happened, and I do feel 2 good acquisitions up front and in midfield could change our team and give us a good chance of challenging for top 4.

Overall, I think Dalglish deserves more time but he needs to show big improvements and quickly. I do feel he has been given more time than most due to his standing at the club, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
