just saw Harry's interview on motd.
my impression was that he went 442 today because people told him too.. even though he thinks it doesnt work... yetstill he didnt change it when it wasnt working.
so was he making a point to try and show us that it doesnt work.. thus we shouldnt criticise the negative stuff we saw up at sunderland?
if so, this isnt the time to make points harry... throwing games to show that infact the formation that you like is the correct one? no thanks.....
can anyone shed some light?
Harry trying to make a point?

The annoying thing is, despite Walker looking tired. Who do we have in to give him a rest?

kneerash. i dont fully buy the england think debate as in the run in last season we won 2 out of 14.... with no england situation. it should be noted that those 2 came after we had completely blown the chance of champions league football, and pressure was off.
therefore it seems that we have a problem with running out of steam/bottling it

We have six, hopefully seven more matches to go.
We are where we are. We are still in with a shout.
We have to lose our fear and our disappointment with recent results and say eff it lets give it our all for the final stretch of the season. It will be difficult but it's not impossible.

How do you explain the 2010 finish where we went on a 10 game run including wins against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City? Then Losing to Burnley when pressure was off.
The complete opposite to 2011.
I kind of accepted last season's end because of our CL run and the lack of experience in dealing with this.
However, this season there is no excuse.

I see your point Chronic but the timing of Capello's resignation, Harry being so heavily liked to the job and Spurs' dip in form is very suspect.
Like I said earlier it certainly looked like Spurs had developed the grit they had lacked in previous seasons. There were several games this year that you won by grinding out the result when in previous seasons you would have drawn/lost those games.
You do have a strong point with the similarites of the timing of poor runs at this stage of the season for the ast 2 years. It's probably a bit of everything, players feeling let down by Harry not committing and loosing that vital edge they had, Harry himming and hawing over England or CL with Spurs?
I don't like to say it and I'm probably wrong but woudl it be easier for Harry to leave Spurs for England if you didn't qualify for the CL? I woudl think he woudl have loved to have qualified you and if he did leave the job would be allot more attractive to a top manager.

i cant...
unfortunately from my experiences following spurs, i have to say that us rising out of the flames in such a way is very un spurs like and thus unfortunately a one off

kneerash I actually think that if Harry didnt get us top 4 after being ten points clear in 3rd, his job would be under threat, whether or not England come knocking. This is dependent on who Levy has lined up, as he will no doubt be expecting Harry to go, and thus has been looking for replacements, being a good business man

"I cannot have tiredness, apart from the FA cup run we have only played about 41 games? Europa was mainly reserves."
There are no excuses. Reward/credit without cost/blame.
Welcome to the modern top flight game.

Cannot wait to see him do this when he is in the England job.
